Maybe instead of eating meat in every meal, having one full veggie meal per day might help promote that change.Sorry I meant that the way it makes them feel morally Superior is stupid not veganism in general. Like I said I was vegetarian for about two years . I do believe it is healthier and better for the environment.
Still don't know when people argue about it though.
It's just hard to keep up that diet when the rest of your family is not vegetarian.

You're ad hominem attacks are unnecessary and untrue.2 different things in my eyes... Do I believe in eating meat? Yes. My meat ate other meat at some stage, its just the way of the world...
But do I agree with animal cruelty? Of course not. If it's a clean, painless kill and the animal doesn't suffer, and is then used completely then I have no problem with it. I think the 2 issues need to be separated and that's where Vegan's have trouble using their brains... Probably due to a lack of protein.

My GF's sister is a hardcore Vegan and was complaining that the photographers on Planet Earth wouldn't stop and assist the animals they were filming while in their natural habitat. I argued for like 2 hours that interacting with them and assisting them would screw up their ecosystem, and probably kill off something else in the process as a domino effect, but the dumb ass wouldn't listen.
Your GF's sister was mistaken about that part but to say every single vegan has the same views is a ridiculous claim.

If you really want to rile up the vegans, the next time you have a nice juicy steak you throw it on IG and use #vegan. Watch as the angry vegans descend upon your profile and threaten your life. You'll be sitting there eating popcorn like MJ

Let's take a break from meat eaters and vegan moral discussions. There's bigger things

People can look up the information themselves and we should all just leave others to live their lives the way they see fit. Lead by example and if that changes someone's mind great if not oh well.
Since I started weight lifting 2 years ago and eating healthy, non-processed food, my husband has lost weight and my kids eat healthy now too.
It actually did start a change in our family and we no longer eat crap food.. just took a while for everyone else to get on board.
My husband comes from a line of chefs so he really likes to cook ( in b4 cuck) he loves meat way too much to ever become a vegetarian lol we do eat more vegetables though.

You can be a healthy vegan or vegetarian it just takes more planning to make sure you are getting the right vitamins and nutrients.
I made myself try a lot of new foods while vegetarian.
I have NO idea what I'd eat if I was vegan though..Must take some discipline!!

I don't mind vegans so long as they're honest. Most aren't, they cling to pseudo-science rather than just admit it's emotional.

Agree, and I barely even eat meat (no homo). Some chicken/fish when eating out, otherwise vegetarian. It's never good enough for them, though. If you even look at leather or touch an egg they berate you.

My biggest pet peeve tho are all these animal right ralleys...california banning foie gras, death threats to business owners all this before we take a stand for other humans.
anyway keep doing your thing bro..all the best in it...I cant worry too much about animals as long as theres still human suffering happening in as much abundance as there have been

In fact I'd say it takes less effort helping animals than it does helping humans. With helping animals, all you have to do is reduce meat consumption and replace some of your meals with vegetarian/vegan replacements. E.g instead of ordering a burger, you can get the veggie burger option. Probably more I missed but those all have about zero scientific proof for them. The proof is to the contrary, that lean meat is healthy for you. Provides important nutrients and cancer fighting properties.
Also I probably think fatty meat is healthy for you. Problem is studies often group fatty meat eaters with other bad life habits (smoking, no exercise, etc)
From Lyle McDonald:
Since everybody is losing their crap over this new study on PROCESSED meats and cancer risk. Read this and memorize it please. feel free to post it on anybody's wall who shares this nonsensical garbage.
Typical high processed meat diet = lots of fatty red meat overcooked. Minimal fruit and veggies. Stress, alcohol, smoking, no exercise, excess bodyfat. Of course it's unhealthy. In the context of the other half a dozen bsad health habits.
Typical lean red meat diet = lean red meat, lean people, exercise, plenty of fruits and vegetables.
Bad health habits almost always cluster together.
So do good habits.
Trying to isolate out a single bad health habit among a string of them is a losing battle and the research showing that LEAN red meat improves health, that meat has a number of importance health and ANTI-CANCER nutrients are numerous.
MULTI-FACTORIAL. everyone needs this tatted on their head.
No, I am NOT saying that processed meats are healthy. I am saying that the jump from highly processed meats to ALL meats is as dumb as the jump from high-fat diets to ALL fats. Meats are not a single category of foods. There are lean meats, fatty meats and everything in-between. They have different effects and read this carefully
HEALTH IS NEITHER AN ON-OFF SWITCH NOR CAN ANY SINGLE FOOD BE CONSIDERED OUTSIDE OF THE CONTEXT OF THE ENTIRE LIFESTYLE.
"Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does." -William James

Thing is until it becomes more convienient to buy fair trade, organic, or healthy food, people are going to go with the flow because it's easier.
The government makes it hard/expensive for people to buy fair trade and healthy food because they have a system in place that puts money in their back pockets.
Just like how they won't change over to all grass fed beef even though it would almost completely rid our beef supply of E**** bacteria. It's easier to keep feeding them corn and crap and not fix the system. They just put other measures in place to "fix" the problems of the system (like washing our meat with amonia)
Edit- for some reason it keeps starring out E**** so it's pronounced eeco-lie lol sure y'all can figure that out though

It's this simple: people go vegan to prevent as much unnecessary animal suffering as possible
Being vegan you can put on just as much muscle mass, strength, and size. I've been vegan 15 months, and I can still bench 350 at 180, deadlift 500+ no problems, still just as lean and have as much muscle, etc.
It's not hard at all. You just have to know what to do.

Vegans have the morally, ethically and scientifically superior argument. There is no reason to argue with them because you will lose.
Just say you like eating meat because it tastes good and that's that.
