After so many years, I can't even recall which one 2014 was.

Edit:

Anyway, it's fun (and also uuuuuughhh!!!) to look back at these stages and set times and think about how my plans would have been different with my current desires

Pretty sure you and I solo'd 2014 and then SweatySean was 2015. I strictly remember (lol!!) walking into Kaskade 2014 Saturday

For you brahs that have attended a few festivals, which one would you say you enjoyed the most?

I've done Tomorrowland 4 times, Creamfields 3 times and Ultra last year, but I feel I need to do EDCLV. Is it worth it?

EDM in general is bigger and more popular than it was than the last several years in terms of streaming and viewership, however it's the music festivals that are slowly losing popularity over time...these graphs are just depressing

Ultra Music Festival, the peaks are during march - april, look how low it's becoming, sad as fuk

EDC Vegas, not too bad but dropped 16 points from 2015 to 2016

Tomorrowland, going downhill hard.

2012 - 2014 goat edm era r.i.p

imo I think the problem is the leadership of music festivals

Stick to Tomorrowland. Hotter sloots. Edc feels bigger production though and you get to sleep in luxury hotels instead of camping.

EDCLV was the first that I went to in 2014. Went annually until 2015. Great, specific memories from each - but I felt like each one was almost better, as I tended to enjoy the moment a bit more and just immerse into the experience.

The only 'knock' I would have is that it's located in Vegas - it's good, and bad. You are tempted to try to enjoy all of Vegas during the day, and try to survive the speedway at night - kind of overwhelming in that regard. Additionally, if you take the shuttle bus (convenient, hard to argue with), it just makes the process very long each day (small price to pay overall though).

Been to TL 2x as well - I loved it for it's alternative to the reasons listed above^. But you've been there, so I don't need to discuss that. I guess I would simply say that Vegas itself is quite the experience, and I have no reason to think that EDCLV wouldn't be worht it or enjoyable for you - there are just some small things that go along with logistics more than anything.

Cool, thanx boss. Just out of curiosity, which would be better to go to Ultra or Tomorrowland? I like Alesso, Martin Garrix, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and a few more too, into a bit of dubstep too, datsik has some good ones.

At first I thought it was simply because the initial drop was 'split' simply due to them moving to a two weekend event. I'm also curious how perhaps the landscape of Europe events affects this - Europe seems to have so much more to offer (in terms of consistent, local shows, and also larger events simply due to the population clustering). I have no idea what I'm talking about though

This reminds me, I want to go to Luminosity Beach Festival though. Skipped out one year while I was already in Europe because I loathed the idea of missing 3 more days of work. LMFAO at me. Have regretted it ever since.

Alesso and MG always play TML. DV and LM don't play Ultra anymore I don't think due to their manager being one of the owners of TML or something along those lines. There's also a dubstep stage or 2 at TML

Why isnt Chris Liebing streaming on Resistance stage? Is that just an artist's personal preference? I would be surprised if they would negotiate that - but I don't see why Ultra wouldn't stream it unless the artist requested it?
