I don't think I screwed it up, I think he would have led me on for a long time and am glad I cut my losses when I did. I believe when a guy likes you, you don't have any doubts and he makes it clear from the start.

No we don't make it clear from the start especially if we've been phucked over. If we make it clear then women get spooked and bolt especially if you're an attractive man.

Sounds like playing games which I really don't like. My current guy (3 weeks) already introduced me to friends, coworkers, told his family about me, wants to spend the days together not just evenings, wants to see me every day, etc and I love it.

My relationship was like this at the beginning, still is, to a lesser, not honeymoon period anymore degree, and we are still together forever and a day later.

There could be something to say about the inexperience though I guess as we were both young at the time, but neither of us had been like that in previous relationships. Sometimes you just know when it's right.

I would say you got lucky, in most situations a woman expects you to keep up that level of attention which never is possible with work/school and etc. As extroverted as I am no way I wouldn't get burned out with someone wanting to spend all their time with me or have my constant attention. Been through this and its awful.
