It's dead because of two reasons. 1) More sub forums which divert traffic away from Misc 2) Youtube changing its comment format and allowing conversations to take place. Nowadays comment sections on youtube fitness channels are more entertaining than misc is.

Now? Honestly I think the biggest issue was WAY too many bans handed out. Too many different mods with different opinions, also I think certain mods banned people because they didn't like them or their opinion/style of humor, not necessarily because the user(s) should of been banned.

The only other forum I ever posted on was Maxboxing back in the day and that forum pretty much went to sh!t because of mass bannings and mod's having personal vendettas against certain users/opinions/politics/etc

Now Misc is full of insanely bitter dudes, it's hard to tell anymore who is joking and who is legit being serious with their self loathing or awkward hate.

I used to lurk around 2010 and back then, so many threads were unbelievably funny. 2010-2012 era was gold. Posters like YBD, the ******** troll threads, new misc memes regularly... those were the days.

Even now, posters that bring lols getting banned too much isn't great. It's why when bustacapp was permabanned, there was a petition to get him back because he's one of the last rustlers left.

If we want to make misc great again,we need a petitionto bring back posters like YBD, kadafi25, ibby95, mirintheiron etc.
