Until recently, I didn't realize eating disorders were so common with lifters. I know many tend to binge or just get extreme about certain things, but I just never thought about it as an eating disorder. Kind of like the guy/gal that weighs out the pickle slices on their sammich etc
absolutely true all the way around. Theres a fine line between weighing your food and saying "close enough" when you're supposed to eat 200g chicken and you have 225g on the scale. Thats not a huge deal IMO.

The big deal is when you trim off every edge to hit 200g on the dot, or stress about your MFP dashboard saying you ate 2,020 calories when you were supposed to eat 2,000....or when you start weighing your sugar free ketchup...like the 10 cals from it actually matter long term. thats when people start losing their minds (myself included)






TLDR some people just AINT made for this shet cuz

I give myself a buffer of about 100 calories so that I don't have to count that little stuff. I don't care if I am over or under by 100

one thing i can tell you after binge eating for over a year and a half and not working out is...you dont get fat very fast. i could have cut on such higher cals all those years.

I stopped everything completely for two years. The muscle loss and fat gain happens at a rate almost equivalent, so my weight went up very, very slowly and I was not as aware of what was happening. I left the gym at 214lbs and 15% and when I came back, I was 221lbs, but 28% bf

You know what's messed up? My 8 year old, who is diabetic, uses so much ketchup sometimes, I have to give her extra insulin for it. lol

I guess at some point ketchup will have an impact, but if it does, maybe you're 8 years old. lmao
