My only regret is not buying the larger sized pot.
Think Im going to do so, so that I can make a larger quantity at once and have it for a few days rather than making a new batch every night.
But it honestly tastes better than any coffee I can buy including startbucks, dunkin, and the shops. Just get good beans from a local market and hnnnnnnnng.

I also just downloaded Mint for the ipad and linked all of my accounts.
Interesting to see your money categorized after spending. But there were some errors in categorization and it didnt track my direct debit income.
Will have to tinker with it.
My hope is that I can use it for my weekly and monthly budget.

I use ********** at work and manage the finances there and it makes tons more sense.
Im wondering if they have ********** for personal finance. I read that Quicken is the personal version, but I dont want to pay for it if I end up not liking it.

Sounds like responsible spending habits OP. lol at the tuesday movie theatre thing (I do the same thing). The real question is what are your doing with the money saved? Please tell me you are doing your research and have a strategic investment plan. Because that is just as important as being able to manage your money responsibly, if you ever want to reach your goals of being financially independent.

Be patient with Mint, it has a learning curve. Do not try to go back and categorize all your transactions you bulk downloaded in one sitting. You will burn yourself out and get frustrated.
Chip away at them, then once your caught up try to keep at it daily or weekly.
You will be amazed at how much you spend on coffee shops/eating out if your like many of us.
Here is a good example. Right now I have spent 215.00 month to date on coffee shops and eating out. In addition I have spent 60.00 on groceries. LOL.

just ended up saving about $12/mo on my verizon cell phone bill and getting 2gb more data per month
switched from 3gb for $45/mo to 5gb for $40/mo
$5/mo off on top of that for paperless billing + autopay
was supposed to get 23% company discount but was only getting 20% because i had paper billing. going paperless got me the extra 3%

I save a little north of 2200 a month after all expenses. Honestly the biggest thing that helped me was using a google spreadsheet to create a monthly budget. Google already has the template laid out for you so it's super easy to use. Just allocate an appropriate amount for each type of expense (transportation, food, medical) and try to stick to it as best you can. It's helped a **** ton

Tips for not living paycheck to paycheck?
What I do now:
- automatically save $100 every paycheck! (Paid every week)
- deduct a certain amount for my transportation money for the week
- make payments towards bills
- then with the remainder I use it for food during lunch break @ work, buy myself a few nice things, take out about $20 cash for my wallet I have a bad habit of NOT carrying cash which isn't good for emergencies.
Anyway, so many times I find myself in a position where I'm waiting for next week's paycheck! Should I hold $100 for one week's paycheck and have that be "rainy day" emergency check where it gives me a cushion so I'm not always waiting for next week's paycheck?
Like this week after everything, I managed to have $20 left from last week's pay.
Thoughts? (I hope I'm making sense)

I think of myself as pretty frugal but then I'll go out on the weekend and drop $100 in food and beer. During the week I'm golden though and still ahead of most of my peers.
Similar to mint but I like it better

I made a very basic template in excel just so detail how much and what my money needs to be allocated to, but Ive been having a hard time finding an actual budgeting app or an actual spreadsheet that works for me.
