congrats man. hope they fly off the shelves over there.

went out this weekend for somr trigger time, was messin with buddies ar-10 and wouldnt you know within 30 rounds i had a misfire, and a failure to lock back after last round. aero upper/lower/barrel/rail/etc. not show who made the parts kit, bcg was hexagonal not sure who made it i looked fukin cool tho, it was NiB. said maybe the surplus ammo had hard primers, just not a believer in ar-10s, havent seen one that runs like an ar-15 ever. on another note, going to take the action out of mhy 30-06 and drop into a tactical chassis, learn to shoot it over a few hundred yards would be sweet.

pros vs cons of a full plate carrier vs just a chest rig? just for running drills and stuff like that

Trying to decide on a new carry gun. I carry a 19 daily and I think it's the best gun you can get but I want something smaller. Had a g43 and didn't really like it. Then I think 26 but it's not much smaller than a 19 so I don't know. It's awesome living in America and having American problems.

G26 definitely conceals better than a 19. It is noticeably smaller, especially in the backstrap which is what really matters for printing for typical IWB carry

If you want way smaller, and don't mind cutting capacity in half, there's the Shield

alright dudes who shoot bolt guns. I know nothing about bolt guns. i have a 30-06 that i want to put into a composite stock, can i drop the action into any composite stock or do i have take the action out of my gun now and see what it is first? I see alot for the remington 700, my gun is an imported from england BSA Arms that was given to me many years ago, idk what the action is other than i know its long action.

Love their stuff.

My $0.02
Gentlemen's Blend: Oil has a nice bourbon fragrance but the balm is more vanilla heavy
Pine Scent: This oil and balm is my go-to, nice scent but doesn't last all day (how I like it)
Green tin "beard balm" (the one with the flight cap & goggles): A subdued version of Pine Scent, still good

Outdoorsman Blend: Reviews are saying it's pretty much just citronella oil. Use only for yard work as it's not something you'll want to wear to work or a night out. I'll probably pick up a bottle come summer for hikes that have really bad flies (for both me and my dog).

Oh, and their beard wash smells amazing too. Regrowing and only using oils now, I found out the hard way that my trimmer with 10 length settings really only has 2; 5 o'clock short or 10 o'clock Jason Statham short.

Afternoon MFC....

I'm looking for some opinions on my Remington 700P .338LM so let me start out with my setup and then I'll get to the point

Remington 700P .338 LM
Built in muzzle brake
"Out of the box" stock
Swivel nut rail adapter
Atlas Bipod
Nightforce 5.5 to 22 (Nightforce Rings)

I was finally able to get out and shoot this lil guy over the weekend and I know there has to be more potential to this rifle. First off, the swivel nut adapter comes loose no matter what you do to keep it tight. Any further its going to strip out. So this is making the bipod wobble, creating issues maintaining the target. Second, the stock just does not feel that great as its just the basic stock (whatever it comes with). Third, this rifle hops like a kid in a moon bounce.

So, I'm looking at improving. I'm looking at a manners stock or XLR chassis system. Other recommendations are welcome, but the reviews and price points seem pretty good on either of these (I know AI is even higher cost, but probably one of the best). Either way, I want a stock that accepts the Atlas Bipod without an adapter.

I'm also looking at a better trigger since I've already determined I want to customize this rifle and take full advantage of what it can do.

The biggest thing I'm looking for options on is the brake. The built in brake just doesn't cut it and looks like I'd need a smith to cut it off and thread the barrel. Now, since I want to make this a badazz rifle would you have a smith work the barrel and install a new brake or would you rather rebarrel the rifle with something better through and through?

Let me know what you guys think.
