This right here with eggs, breakfast sausage, and hash browns are as southern as it gets.

Grits and sos are more mississippi/alabama type of 'southern'.

Our breakfast is good, but it's mostly bread and stuff to put on it.

Indians, Americans and to a lesser extent the British have full warm meals.

Omelette, hash browns, and Tabasco. Sunny side up eggs stacked on buttery sourdough toast topped with bacon, sausage, and Tabasco is also great.

I crashed with some Indian coworkers at an old job I had for around a month. Occasionally for breakfast they fed me ramen noodles with eggs, chili peppers, and other spices. For a poverty breakfast it was different/spicy but not bad. Would eat again

[QUOTE=LFAesthetics post_id=1492411761]my ideal breakfast is nothing you'd ever eat for breakfast. i really despise why its all generally like sugary and cakey.

It's the exact opposite for me. I don't like meat at breakfast, or anything hearty or greasy really.

[QUOTE=JeenyusJr post_id=1492410251]France, Belgium, Netherlands, and Germany are all comparable and my fave. Just love those French handle-less coffee cups warming my hands!

Germany is pretty decent. They actually have a verb like "Breakfasting" (Frühstücken).

Yeah, I like our simple, mostly cold style of breakfast.

Throw in some pancakes/waffles/muffins or something like that for special occasions and I'm good.
