I would have no energy. It already sucks being on under 3k calories a day.

I did 120 floors on the stair stepper today and total calories burned was over 500.

If you eat bananas you aren't doing a PSMF

If you eat it, you'll still likely be way under your TDEE calories so will be a net deficit anyway=

If you are that strict about being 'on' or 'off' a diet, then freeze the bananas like the poster above said

Doing PSMF I'd throw in a banana after my workouts into my protein shake, didn't really care about it

Well, I am thinking about hopping on the bandwagon in a few weeks time. I might try and order some ephedrine or yohimbe to curb the hunger, but I'm not sure that these are even legal in Australia.

My plan is to do 7 days PSMF / 7 days at maintenance to fit in with my work schedule for 1 month and see the results. I think I would be too miserable at work if I was doing PSMF.

Yes, you will begin to have some strange changes in a few days (I pooped 6 x in one day,for example, all dark nearly black turds like they've been in me for years or something), some days felt high due to the low calories and E/C stack.

The first 5 days are probably where all the strange changes happen, the last 5 days you get used to it, its not such a big deal and the weight keeps falling off.

Only lifted twice in 10 days too as a cat 1.
We're all gonna make it.

You are also way off the mark. Lyle recommends 1.5-3g of carbs perLBM, up to 50 grams of fats, and your normal protein intake. For you that would be no more than 1800 calories for carbs, another 900 or so for protein and another 450 for fat for a maximum total of around 3150 calories.

Ok I'll admit what I read off is what he stated is that amount within a 3 day refeed. But after looking at it, he doesn't recommend anything but high carbs and no more than 50gs of fat, where are your #s coming from?

Exact opposite for me, if I eat during the day ( on normal calories ) I get tired, can't really concentrate on anything and feel like my brain is all foggy. When I fast all day I feel mentally clear and perform much better in the daily activities I do

You're a category 1? Might be why we are getting our wires crossed. I'm a 2 still so my refeeds are only once a week in a five hour period.

I'm getting my numbers from lyles book. If you're working out while on the diet, he suggest 3 grams of carbs per lbm, your same amount of protein , and up to 50 grams of fat. Fat contains 9 calories per gram while carbs and protein contain 4 calories per.

I am basing this off the fact that your AVI looks to make you a category 2 and not a 1.

For everyone asking the instructions how to do PSMF

1. Eat protein, 1g x lbm is plenty
2. Eat lots of potassium/sodium/magnesium/calcium/EFA either via diet or through supplements
3. Live however you want
4. Enjoy

Seems like PSMF attracts people with eating disorders or gives them one.

Whilst I'm not questioning it's efficacy in terms of maximizing fat loss over a short period of time, it seems people just binge there way back or close to their starting BF% eventually.

It seems like PSMF is the most popular nowadays it has ever been, at least on misc

PSMF for bulking: 2 day of PSMF followed by 1 day of massive unlimited binging, repeat

PSMF for maintanance: 3 days of PSMF followed by 1 day of massive unlimited binging, repeat

PSMF for cutting: 4 days of PSMF followed by 1 day of massive unlimited binging, repeat

Bruh no offense but that's retarded. This diet is supposed to be short term. If someone was following the protocols you listed above they'll definitely develop an eating disorder

Almost a year ago I did something similar, I didn't eat 800 calories a day though. I ate 1500 calories each day (my maintenance is about 2500) and I made sure to do about 1000 calorie worth of activity each day. I had a 4 day split. Chest / Shoulders / Triceps + Squats + Leg Curls 2 times a week and Back / Biceps + Squats + Leg Curls 2 times a week. I had TaeKwon-DO practice 2 times a week, on those days I only walked in order to burn about 500 calories extra (the training probably burned around 500-700, 2 hours). On days when I didn't have practice I did 500 calories worth of cardio. Dropped 11 lbs in 22 days. Went from 15 percent body fat to about 10-12 (Not sure). Funny enough I got stronger. I think it happened because I came back from a 6 month layoff (That muscle memory).

Went from 183 - 172. Felt like **** most of the time, also worked a 9 to 5 job, never again. Right now I'm cutting on 2200, much more sustainable. I did it because I had to be under 172 lbs for the competition. After the weigh ins I had a massive binge where I ate everything in sight.
