You will go insane if you enter a tech company in SF as a conservative. You will witness extreme leftism and it will creep into your daily job. Go to a team lunch and wanna have an opinion that isn't extreme left? Nope, keep your mouth shut. A senior manager talked about donating to Black Lives Matter, and everyone was discussing it and I had to bite my tongue hard.

If you decide to move to Texas I recommend avoiding Austin. It's currently a spillover for all the liberal twats who can't quite hack it in California with their own kind. The rest of the state does a pretty good job keeping the fruity little lefty fuktards contained though.

i always tell people i don't do lunches with other employees. They always want to talk politica and I'm not into that.

Hopefuly they get the message. Funny retards saying they're liberal, etc. Try acting liberal in the workplace and tell me how that goes. Complain your co-worker is assuming yoru gender, company should stop stressing out employees, everyone shuold get participation awards, too many white male managers, you need your safe space, the project just got you triggered and you need to take the day off, etc.

workplaces are conservative as fuark. if you don't do as well as everyone else - out you go. peronal opinions mean cht, unlike social media where it's "all about you".

Companies now have clear quarterly goals to hire more people that aren't white males, and make more females managers/leads. Of course, it's still a business and you can't just stop working or be productive, but I don't think you understand how cucked companies are now in Silicon Valley.

probably.

but in the POSITIONS that matter, which affect revenue - ie coders. It's still 98% male. And mainly asians and whites.

pc doesn't matter in positions that matter. No company is hiring nothing but women and disabled for their sales team.

but useless positions - yheah companies say "hey make it diverse so we can take photos for our website". So don't go for useless positions. As for managers, most are still white/asian males last I checked in s.v. Look at execs.

Think back to the clint eastwood Dirty harry movies. they are set in sf so it must have been a tough place back then.

It also has a strong connection with the gold rush and the navy surprisingly enough. Wouldn't know it y the way people act now but its still there. I was stationed on the USS Coral Sea that was homeported in Alameda and people couldnt have been more supportive. it was surprising but if course that was years ago.

Its a great city, world class no doubt about it and everyone should visit it. but... All of the stuff op says is true.

You will be 100% dinged in performance reviews if you fail to socialize with your team. Not every lunch, but there are 2-3x team lunches per week.

Work remotely for an SF company. Had a meeting after Trump got elected because the snowflakes there were so butthurt about MAGA..Laugh out loud ridiculous.

They live in such a bubble. Have a buddy of mine who works for the same company who lives in deep woods NH. They couldn't believe he didn't pay a state income tax. He earned almost 10% more in take home pay.

Sounds like London, except there are probably more politics-obsessed drama queen *******s here. The mood at my old workplace the day after Trump got elected would make you think there was a suicide pact in the office the night before.

By the way what's your job OP? Is there opportunities in other areas? I'm making my move to the East coast hopefully in the next little while, fingers crossed.

knew this was about SF before I entered. i was actually born and raised and have lived in SF for the majority of my 31 years. this place is sinking, fast. make the $ while you can, save, plan, and find a new area to live.

check out the peninsula (san mateo, south san francisco, san carlos, burlingame) because they have great neighborhoods, schools, and its amazing how the libtard disease doesnt cross city lines as much. don't be one of those foreigners that say, "ooooo but i HAVE to live in SF". you are just part of the reason rent is so expensive.

OP is mad about living in a city that is literally the Sodom of the modern era as its full of full-time ***s, career women with barren wombs and even more barren minds and souls AND he looks like a dude who would be every gay guys ideal physique for a top.

I'd be mad too.

Majority are the tech workers from the South Bay. They work in the South Bay but have to live 60 miles away in SF.

Those ****ing Tech Buses they ride in **** up 19th Ave and block the left lane on all of the freeways.

Friend of mine would leave his car in mountain view in the company lot and take the bus or caltrain up to SF just to live in a $4600 1 bd apartment off valencia and 16th with 4 other people

also I saw people throw literal **** at the buses when i lived in the city

So, all the *******ry is contained in the San Francisco proper? I am asking this because I am about to move to the Bay Area and am still choosing a city in which to reside.

BWHAHAHAHAHA

no. fck no. You need to drive north to Sac before you finally escape the sucking black hole of libtardery.

I'm literally counting the days until I can move out of this chithole

I've lived around Marin, the peninsula and the East bay so I can give you some heads up if you're moving here for a tech job (I assume that's the only reason anyone would come here)

My first meeting this Friday started with a Drumpf joke and a discussion of collusion with Le Russians

This is not a good place for anyone who doesn't share occupydemocrats memes on ********

I'm literally counting the days until I can move out of this chithole

I've lived around Marin, the peninsula and the East bay so I can give you some heads up if you're moving here for a tech job (I assume that's the only reason anyone would come here)
i was thinking of moving to sac for an IT job. seems like the only attempt I'll have at buying a house one day

My coworker from sac is a total bro and all his friends are too, he's so sick of the bay chit that he might follow me to Texas - that's how different Sac seems from the bay proper

If you can telecommute from sac, or even work there and make a 6 figure bay salary - DO IT

Roseville is really nice although it's getting some forced low income housing because CA is obviously retarded
