As a white guy, I honestly think a lot of white people are pretty ignorant on anything having to do with the state of black people in the United States in general.

Your stubborn ways is what's keeping the SJW movement alive…. most of the black dudes in this thread who responded, did so in reasonable, non aggressive way and you STILL shat on them. This "it's not us… it's you!" mentality is never going to work.

Actually, the SJW movement is kept alive by myths like institutional racism, the wage gap and gender politics. This is the exact reason I feel the need to respond to threads like this. So many of these issues have been disproved over and over and over again and yet PC culture makes it so difficult to talk about the god damn truth.

If we are going to move forward as a society we need to address and remove certain sociological myths because they don't help anybody and they just cause division between races, genders and classes.

I disagree. I feel the common theme is that people find Ice Cube's statements as hypocritical or at the least very suspect to the cause he's pushing considering his widespread use of it.

It is interesting that those from the civil rights generation (like Oprah, Whoopie, Morgan Freeman) tend to be against the usage by anyone and don't seem to appreciate the slang usage common today.

Don't care that the country is divided and I know why it is.

More division leads to greater anger and animosity which builds to revolution/civil war. I have no problem with this.
