Irony at its finest considering how society breeds atheists, it's not accidental. The elite continue to brainwash you all from birth that God is a joke, and science only cares about the truth. The funny thing is atheists believe they were created from nothing, all of this is an accident, including human beings, living organisms somehow spontaneously exploded from inorganic matter - they believe all of this based on theories, theories pushed on you since birth that you now believe are true. Gravity isn't even considered a theory anymore, despite there being no empirical evidence for it other than things falling, and fake CGI from NASA. lol just lmfao people will believe anything if it's on TV.

Believe in lies spouted by authority, then make those lies your reality, then tell others they are ignorant for not believing words/images you saw but can't experience or prove with any empirical evidence. Complete irony, science is no longer science but a dogma based on faith and trust in authority.

Poor thing

People say religion gives happiness to people but in reality happy/dumb people tend to be religious. Introspective/depressed people tend to be non-religious.

Ever notice how mentally challenged or feeble minded people don't look their age even if they are in their 30's or 40's?

No stress, no aging. Imagine being 8 years old forever.

How are you gonna pretend that non-religious people are the ones that are brainwashed? You have it completely backwards

People who were born muslim will be 100% certain that their faith is right. Why? Because they were born into it. They were told it was right their whole life so it is ingrained in them now.

People who were born jewish are 100% certain that their faith is right...because they were also indoctrinated from birth.

Their religions say conflicting things, so at least one of them has to be wrong. But how can you say that one is wrong and one is right, when neither have any evidence? Surely it is likely that they are both wrong

People believe in gravity because you can drop something and watch it fall to the ground. You can see it happen with your own eyes

Yep. Wish I believed all that. Must be nice to be brainwashed at such a young age to believe that everything happens for a reason and when you die, you will continue to live forever in this perfect place in the sky

Do some research on general relativity related subjects, and you'll realize that most everything seems to have a mathematical or formulaic reason or element to it. I don't believe this is a coincidence, I believe it points to an extremely intelligent creator. I can understand both sides, but how can you judge the other when both believe that nothing turned into something, whether that be that it started with a creator or the universe?

I don't think its something you can teach, its having supreme confidence in yourself and what you believe in. Being religious is the best in this respect: no matter what happens to you, you are destined for something great. Think of pro athletes, they have this mentality and are usually very religious.

Intelligence has little to do with it. Outside of outliers such as Hitchens and Dawkins atheists are as dumb as everyone else.

But yes, I wish I still had my faith. But belief is not a choice.

lol Christianity doesn't preach that you're destined for greatness. It preaches that you'll be given opportunity to do good for yourself and others, which will lead to a better future for yourself and those around you. It's about choosing to be what a Christian should be, not blindly believing you're saved. If you're religious just for the outcome but not the principle than you're just lying to yourself.

Also if you think you need to be stupid to be religious, it's because you're too stupid to think for yourself so you interpret everything in religious text however you want in a negative aspect in order to discredit it, most likely cause you fear what would happen if you're the ones who are wrong
Hm.

If you're reading this, you're probably a *******

It's an entirely different game when it's health and/or death related. You can stay strong when you have the right foundation, true... but that privilege is taken away really fast when your foundation is smashed. I remember once when I woke up and legit didn't know how to walk anymore. I just couldn't remember how to, legit felt like I wasn't even a person anymore. Forget trying to be strong. Instacucked by biology. It was such a humiliating and terrifying experience, I can totally see praying in my head if sh!t was permanent / even more serious.

On the other hand, I was mis-identified as a suspect in shooting somebody in the head once, arrested and I was chitting pants the entire time as well... but that wasn't nearly as scary because I still had myself. It's when fundamentals of you and yourr existence are taken away from you that chit gets real

but maybe I'm just a pucci. that's a possibility as well.. or maybe that's the childhood trauma of being raised a christian? like you can never get away from it for good if you've been indoctrinated from birth? idk

I have faith, I think it comes down to the individual. Same thing can be said for science, if you were to ask anyone 200 years ago about penicillin or tell medieval human's we are comprised of billions upon trillions of cells. They'd laughed in your face that you are a moron. Science is all about faith, believing in fantasy and making it reality. Personally I think science and faith go hand in hand. Just because you can't see something or prove it doesn't exist doesn't mean it doesn't exist. There's no proof it exists, but at the same times there's no proof it doesn't exist.

If you do have faith in the impossible, what are the downsides to believing in it? Perks, if there is a heaven and you believe you'll go to Heaven, if you don't believe you'll go to hell. I mean, believing in something doesn't make your life any worse. But lol at it being for dumb people, you probably have an arts degree or are a car salesman. Intelligence has nothing to do with faith. In fact most scientists have faith maybe not in God but definitely the unknown. Clearly you're an arts major or on that unemployed time like most Brits.

You're not a Christian, so why even say or try to identify as one? Own your faithless self, no need to sit on the fence.
Thus let me live, unseen, unknown;
Thus unlamented let me die;
Steal from the world, and not a stone

Fair enough. Most agnostics would see your point. There's just no reason to go from what you said to believing everything written down in a 2000 year old book. Makes zero sense. Because a lot of people believe it, it has to be true... ok...

Guys this isn't about religion, it's about willful ignorance and being able to believe a lie if it makes you happy
When you're a child it's not willful. It's indoctrination and child abuse.

You have supreme confidence because the alternative is to realise that your whole life has been based on a lie, your parents were cruel and misguided and you've been brainwashed. So of course you're gonna try and be as confident as you can. Oh what a surprise - religion promises great things! You just have to be a brainwashed sheep from now until you die. You're probably thinking of American athletes and Americans are generally religious so...

Science is all about faith. lol. Put down that Koran son and start educating yourself. Embarrassing post tbh.

I'd rather be an idiot you'd label as a brainwashed sheep that will have positive effect on those around me as well as my self in the name of my religion, than a negative black hole of a person who blames previous generations for believing what they believe and saying they deceived you or were misguided as if you're some how more enlightened, which is counter to you saying science is faith based so in your mind you're just betting on what you consider to be the winning horse and look down on every one else which is a toxic way to be.

Also science claims fact before admitting fiction so your credibility is limited. At least religion is up front with what's on the table. TBH you seem more the sheep
Hm.

If you're reading this, you're probably a *******
