Huh?......227 lbs at 6'0'' is not low, it's actually considered obese. I'm the same height and I'm 203 lbs so going by your logic, I must be anorexic.....

This.
As a manlet i'll eat prot and veggies at 800 cals 5 days of the week with one day at maint and one free for all day, doing cardio sometimes twice a day, lifting twice a week dropping 3-4lbs a week when i'm chubby and if I lost muscle mass, it sure as hell doesn't show when the fat melts away.

you know whats really scary?

I said his calories are too low for a guy of his size. Trevan is trying to get himself in Eating Disordered territory.

Also he has no business complaining about chubby women being interested in him if he's 227 lbs at 6 feet tall. Like I told him before, I am more open to bigger guys since i gained weight, so he should be too instead of complaining about women being interested in him if they're overweight. He could be missing out on some good women as a girlfriend.

Sheesh.

A guy who is 6 feet and 227 lbs should be cutting at no lower than 2200 if he's exercising 1 hour a day.

I have seen at least 10 nutritionists. I think I know what I'm talking about. I try to warn people about disordered eating before they end up in ED hell.

Are you mentally handicapped or are you a legit troll? I'm 6ft, 227, but guess what ? I was 6ft, 160-190lbs with varying amounts of muscle and only obese/chubby/old women gave a **** .

Currently Im not even concerned with dating right now and guess what?Im losing weight . Just because you can't stay in shape are finally are willing to get with chubby men in your age range doesn't mean that I at 26 should wife up obese women. I'll pass.

There no reason to eat 2200 calories if I can just eat 1500 and lose the weight faster. Once I get to my target weight I'll sit at around 2000ish day. I love how not over eating and eating like a normal human being these days is "eating disorder territory"

Just because I can't stay in shape? You think I like eating 3,000-4,000 calories of hospital food? Groce. It was disgusting.

It's called a MENTAL ILLNESS that I went and got PROFESSIONAL HELP.

I could be like my friends from there and just float from hospital to hospital on disability. Some won't even leave the house. My avi is how I looked when I entered the ED hospital.

I didn't want to eat that GROCE DISGUSTING food but every time I go below 1800 calories I get dizzy and end up in the ambulance.

They even made me eat meat and I've been vegetarian for 11 years. Yuck.

So yes, you can get with a chubby girl now.

The goal is to be 175-180lbs.

Tomorrow Im off. No major plans other than the gym, clean up the room/bathroom, clean some guns and binge watch some anime.
I cut the same way...seems like I don't lose weight unless I do 1800-2k plus cardio. Back when I got a six pack I was eating less than 2k with HEAVY cardio. Didn't lose that much strength either.

What the hell? Why waste time cutting on 2500 calories when he has a lot of fat to lose. You sound worse than most miscers...I know guys who are 175-180 at 6'0 and they look pretty decent

LOL so you have disordered eating as well.

That's the toughest of this: how to recover and live life in a world where everyone around you is dieting. I love how all of these "professionals" except us to gain 50 lbs of fat in 3 months and expect us to live life and be so happy and walking around like life is wonderful when our husbands are turned off by how we look because we went from slim to fat.

So then your husband refuses sex, you try to get it on cougar sites and Tinder to get validation that you're still attractive after the weight gain. I love how Oktatrevan say that I can't stay in shape?? Like dude I was eating gross 16 servings of cottage cheese, fish, yogurt and 16 servings of rice, bread, baked potatoes, etc. a day hospital food that didn't even taste good!

If I gained that much weight I WISH it was doughnuts, cookies, cake that actually tastes good!

Now I can see why so many turn lesbian in recovery, because men typically don't want someone fat and get turned off to how we look after we do refeeding.

It's totally different from drug addiction where everyone knows drugs bad. Anorexia recovery tells you to stop judging people by their size and learn to love yourself at any size, blah blah, eat mindfully, don't count calories, don't count macros, using MyFitnessPal is like using heroin in their eyes and will get you kicked out of the program, etc.

I don't think anyone can understand how difficult it is to recover from an eating disorder. The only people I see this work for are naturally thin and can eat a large volume of food and are tall and thin women. Maybe they got bloated in refeeding but it balanced itself out over time.

Some of us gravitate towards bodybuilding because you have to eat protein: you can't starve yourself on 800 calories a day and do bodybuilding.

Why tell someone they need professional help unless

a) you get help or

b) you are a licensed therapist

At least I'm trying to help them avoid a life-threatening illness, sheesh.

Denial is tough but I can't convince an addict. They have to hit rock bottom before they get help, just like I did when I ended up in the ambulance 3 times.

Anyhow, back to MGTOW. Yes, it is tough to be a guy in today's dating market with sloots and flakes......

Not possible.

I got set up on a date the other day by my friend. I didn't want to but the fcker set the whole thing up without my knowledge. Anyway, it was a double date and we were all sitting there having dinner. Every time someone in the group brought ANYTHING up, this chick would say "Really? That reminds me of this one time...." and turn the story back to her own life. She legit (no bull****) did this for 2 fcking hours. I was exhausted listening to her by the end of it.

Some people are not capable of understanding that they're complete narcissists who are incapable of not getting as much attention as possible. Whether it's a disease, a chemical imbalance or what, I don't know. It's HORRIBLE to be around though, I'll tell you that. Two hours of this crap and I almost jabbed my fork into my eyeball.

Obviously I'm sensitive if someone posts something that is disordered eating and starvation.

More on starvation where these men were eating 1,800 calories a day and the men were getting starvation symptoms:

Just happened right now. Here is voldulmega's post and my response.

I don't have a flawless past, probably wouldn't be easily accepted by most women these days. Got divorced at 25, have a child from the marriage, former drug addict and no real solid career. I get by fine and am happy though, basically coast through on my looks and improve them more by lifting etc to compensate for the other chit.
OK that makes sense that it's the former drug addict, since addicts tend to be attracted to more "Borderline" types and other addicts. Many end up in Codependent Anonymous (CoDA) or Al-Anon even years after recovery because even if you are sober/not using, there is a tendency to be codependent and attracted to unstable relationships.

Bish opts for tennis.

Anyone played tennis for a first date before? Is this a good thing? I can't really think how I can get a sexual vibe going from hitting a ball accross a net?

Put a couple of tennis balls in your shorts and tell her to take them out.

IMO this could be a better first date than a movie, if both of you are at least passable tennis players. If one or both of you suck ass then IMO it wouldn't be worth it.

Yea I typically never EVER suggest a movie for the first date, but in this instance I really, really wanted to see Dunkirk and had no one to go with.

I can hold my own at tennis, but she said, "I'm not that good or anything by the way".

To each his own, I prefer going to the movies alone anyway. I also cannot wait for Dunkirk, it looks very interesting!

If she really isn't that good, you could give her some pointers (an opportunity for you to get physical with her).

I'm not like that in real life. I know someone who is, and it's annoying.

In real life people come to me and think of my as like a counselor to reveal their problems. I'm very quiet and don't say much. I'm better typing than speaking.

My mind looks at trends, geometrical relationships, and how patterns form. I have an analytical mind, and a true narcissist has zero empathy towards others.

I'm the opposite in that I have TOO much empathy towards others, especially animals. I bond with animals more than people.

I want to see the best in people on here and feel sad when they look over someone for being chubby or some shallow physical attribute that's meaningless for a life partner. We all get old and lose our looks. I see men my age coming down with almost white hair. If someone is battling cancer, who cares if they are 15 lbs overweight? I guess my perspective is different in middle age.

I bond with dogs easier than with people and I enjoy spending my time around dogs more than with people.

In fact, my career goal is to work and interact with dogs on a consistent basis (I haven't nailed down what it would be specifically, but that I what I wanna do).

That's a great insight. You should do something with dogs then!

When I get too old to work in hi-tech, I would like to be a vet assistant.

As one who has worked for 25 years, make your work your passion! Otherwise days just get mundane.
