Preorder bundles are easier to get ahold of now. That's what I did. Was a GameStop thing with Zelda and a pro controller that shipped like 4 days after the preorder. But yea it's still not just in stock places you can buy the system outright.

I heard bestbuy is getting a restock on switch's the 21st, wouldn't surprise me with the release of Splatoon 2 and all. Would recommend calling around and asking if you dont have a switch yet.

Is there a way to backup my saves in case something happens to my console? Like with PS+ on the PS4 you can back your saves with Cloudsave.

I don't think so - yet. I read some rumors that Nintendo heard a lot of backlash on console only saves and may update it to include cloud saves when the online component launches. Who knows if it's true.

As a wwe fan I enjoys them but was at their best with no mercy, wcw/nwo and fire pro . But on switch Playing this excites me. Last Nintendo w we games played were day of reckoning.

Anyone here have experience with the original Splatoon AND played the Splatoon 2 Splatfest?

I owned the original and was mildly receptive to it (not my go-to game, but was a good filler when I was bored) but I REALLY enjoyed Splatoon 2 even though a lot of it felt similar. Did anyone else get this reaction?

I'm trying to determine if it's strictly hype or if the game is actually this much better.

I wish Nintendo would hurry up with the goddamn games. I finished zelda with almost all the shrines- not interested in the first DLC. And my wife and I have played Mario Kart to death. Not interested in Splatoon. All I want is smash bros and mario party. Or maybe mario tennis.Something

Yeah, its going to be a good year though for Nintendo with its games. Just gotta be patient...I skipped the first Zelda DLC because I havnt even finished the story and no care for master mode yet. 2nd DLC is where its at.

Splatoon has my attention now, its so fun....we all need to hop on and do some salmon runs

Splatoon has my full uninterrupted-by-backlog-or-anything-else attention.

Yes a Salmon run, those happen at all during the day? ET timezone?

I been doing regular battles, I am playing these on my TV, has anyone tried a battle while using it as a handheld? I might take it with me to my brothers tomorrow.

I want to get one for my nephews or extra controllers so we can do local-Salmon runs for fun.

Salmon run is an timed event but I believe the hours are below EST times.

7/21 2AM - 7/22 12 AM
7/22 2 AM - 7/23 12 AM
7/23 2 AM - 7/24 2 AM
725 - 8 am - 8 PM
7/27 - 2 am - 2 PM.

I played the beta on handheld and didnt have an issue, but have been playing on TV mode with the joycon controller with motion controll on and I seemed to do a lot better.

Amiibos are pretty expensive, theres a way to make your own NFC tags for cheaper, and nice google will help. But your daughter might want the actual amiibos cause of the cuteness lol

Also PSA for the bonuses you get from Salmon runs. Didnt know where to grab them after I won them, there is a window next to the area where you enter the Salmon run that has your rewards. Usually gives you tickets to redeem special bonuses at the food truck behind where you spawn in the lobby
