She will definitely completely change and fix everything if you get married, you should probably knock her up to make sure OP...not fkn srs.

Any problem you have pre marriage will double post. All good but financial incompatability is a big one.

This female roommate I had wanted to be roommates again. Later found out we couldn't get an apt together b/c she had bad credit. And she cut all contact with me.

Last time I saw her, she was gonna get married to her Ex, broke up with ex, and then got back with him prob for money reasons. Maybe b/c he was the only guy willing to support her, or spend thousands of dollars on her like expensive mattresses and stuff.

BREAK UP WITH HER
I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt on what she spent it on but this is ridiculous. I got a credit card at 18 and have only carried a balance of 1k for 2 months in that time to pay for my undergrad thesis expenses. The fact that she has no living costs but sees credit as this magic money tree to buy purses and laptops should be a sign.

Also, her debt could affect you being able to enter the Air Force if you're married. They don't want to let people in with substantial debt. THEY WILL NOT LET YOU IN IF YOU MARRY HER SRS. And then there goes the golden ticket for you two paying it off.

Ignore this idiot. His advice is a path to financial ruin. She's young and is just getting started. In a few years she will have a $75K job and be $200K in debt. You would never have peace and security.

OP, I've spent the last week watching murder documentaries on Netflix (mostly domestic) I am now practically a highly qualified murder-ologist

One of the documentaries was a wife in debt murdering her husband and paying off the debt with her half/life insurance

Good point about the Airforce. I didn't even think of that. I remember them checking my credit. My friend also said it could also stop me from getting certain jobs in there as well. He almost didn't get a position because he owed 4K for college.

Yeah from what I remember with my family/ex being all different branches of military, they are the most strict with debt.

You know this and you're questioning if you made the right decision? The fukc? She's a status whore. A MK purse isn't any better than a Wal-Mart one...it's just the name attached to it. 30+ VS outfits? This bitch trying to fukc in the gym or workout?

You get back with her, you deserve all the debt and unhappiness she'll bestow upon you.

You already told her you weren't getting married until she got her debt under control. She didn't, and it even got worse. If marriage was truly a priority for her she would have pulled her chit together. If you cave and get married, its all over. Lol

Hardly a convincing pro/con list. You already aren't with her. Just keep on like you are until you find someone higher quality.

How about spending some time to get her help. Seek out someone/something.
