Thoughts? Appreciate the help brah. Oh and i live in ND and have a class 1 if that matters.
What? A standard AR15 type rifle is a 16" barrel, though you can also get 18" or 20", anything under 16" is en entirely different world legally. And probably nobody makes a 5-6" barrel because it wouldn't work or it would be trash with basically zero dwell time and no muzzle velocity.

Pretty sure you're trolling, but whatever

The fuk would i troll about lol? I literally said i need something personal for a contrating job. Derp

I know there's 11" barrels out there. I'm asking if he or anyone knows of a company that produces it in a long gun or do i have to build the weapon myself and just order the 11" barrel.

are you asking if you can build a SBR illegally?

only way you can get an under 16" barrel w/o a stamp is if you go the AR pistol route.

Ah that's some info i needed, ty men. Makes sense now why every manufacturer i checked has 16" minimum. I don't care for the AR pistol, buddy has one just not in to it. I like a shorter barrel for what i need it for. On duty my M4 is just too long to properly clear rooms/houses and awkward for me, i end up transitioning to my pistol way too much. My hope was to figure out how to get a more compact AR, even 13-14" barrel would be better for me.

A BCM lower isn't going to do anything for you. Ultimately, that's a rollmark. If you're ok with Keymod, this is a pretty quality build.

Full length handguards are pretty much through the floor. Between Aero, SLR, and MI, you can get a 15" free float MLok handguard for ~150 bucks. You'll need to uninstall your barrel nut and then reinstall your barrel assembly.

Without a stamp, you can get a 14.5" barrel with a pinned muzzle device that's 1.5" long. That will have an OAL of 16", and be mildly shorter than a 16" barrel with 1" muzzle device. The length you're looking for requires a tax stamp.

What's sad is that you probably have more gun rights than Californians right now.

No, it's not. You can't own this because California is a slave state.

I'd go to a local gun shop and have them explain the process and what kind of mutilated AR you can buy.

Or just move to America.

This one's Colt instead of BCM, and carbine instead of midlength, but it saves you a few hundred bucks off the bat:

$1100 bucks for a decked out colt. Can save yourself ~$200 bucks with Aero if desired:http://www.brownells.com/firearms/ri...RO%2bPRECISION
