how to make the best breakfast known to man [srs][pics]
[recipe in pics was for a half order but I will provide the full order recipe:
[1 lb breakfast sausage (I used Jimmy Dean), hot, sage, or regular (I used regular)
-3 cups whole milk -pinch of poultry seasoning
- 3 tbsp. of regular flour
- 2 tbsp. butter (I used salted butter)
- a good amount of pepper, you want the dish to be peppery but not over peppery
- if you use salted butter you prolly don't need any salt, maybe a slight slight pinch for good measure
-Pillsbury biscuits (8 count, extra flaky)
-First preheat oven for 350 degrees F.
-Start cooking the breakfast sausage into a large saucepan on medium heat
-Then get your mise en place. Get everything out that you need to use already weighed out.

-Once your sausage is cooked, throw in your butter.

-When butter is melted, throw in flour.
-When flour is incorporated, in goes the milk.

-Simmer until thick (consistency you're looking for, I like my gravy thick)

-Pull out biscuits when they are done (takes usually 13-16 minutes on 350)

-Put gravy on biscuits, and enjoy!
]

Pro tip: You can skip the biscuit making process by obtaining/making Red Lobster Biscuits (you can buy and make them in a box). They are the best like that srs

never had biscuits and gravy in my entire life
not about to
not about to
Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.

It's the meal that 'breaks' your nightly 'fast'. Just in case you seriously didn't know what it meant.

I don't do dairy or milk.
My best breakfast is by far my 5-7 egg veggie omelette downed with a cup of coffee, no sugar.
