A thread on the Misc that is humanizing! Wut! Repped, OP. Most entertaining thread I've read on here in a while.

Not so cringy in my opinion. Drinking raw eggs is more something you do cause you saw Rocky do it, or a fun stupid dare with your friends, than it is a try-hard lifter trying to look hardcore (unless you drank it seriously thinking it would give you more gains lol). And getting a pump before a girls comes over, what's cringy about that? I never really done this, but nothing wrong with trying to look your best.

Me personally:

-Skipping out on social life, drinking, fun parties to get to bed at 9 or 10pm so I can up bright and early with good sleep and energy to lift. Would legit ignore girls because Mickey, Rocky Balboa's trainer said:

-Carrying around the gallon, or very large container of water everywhere I go (I do still carry a water bottle, I just refill it throughout the day so I don't have to carry 10lbs extra everywhere I go and look like a tool.)
-Discredit my friend's strength and lifts if they don't go full ROM, touch pause, and lift on bench, go ATG on squats, or if they don't follow official WPO (world powerlifting organization) rules when lifting...then it don't count. Lol how annoying I must've been to be around.
-Purposely didn't show off my gains with well fitted or short sleeved shirts, even during summer, because in my mind men who show off their bodies or take shirtless pics on social media are just doing it for the girls, and that means they aren't hardcore lifters like me who do it for "love of the iron" hahaha what cringe, now when I tell people I used to be jacked in HS, I don't even have a picture to show them because I never took any.
-Not sure if cringe, but I used to take a little notebook with me into the gym to record my lifts and reps. I'm sure some people see it as try-hard and cringy, but it really does help keep me motivated, and track my strength if getting stronger is the goal.

I used to individually work every muscle, forearm curls, reverse forearm curls, reverse calf raises etc. Such a waste of time

I always get too fat during a bulk. In my mind I never go above 15% bf, but in reality I get up to like 18% which is fukin retarded

cycles of bulking and cutting
training like I would ever compete in any kind of fitness event
not stretching every single day
spending more than 45 minutes in the gym
not properly warming up
taking any kind of supplement that wasn't a vitamin or caffeine
hard to hate on a fellow wings fan but....

i need to cut... badly.

Bulking/gomad and doing Stronglifts. Got to 1000lb club but also fat af so who cares. Went from 175 to 230 and thought I was jacked. See avi.

I'm still fixing the damage from that bs program and diet. back to 170 and look 10000% better

Not doing SS/Stronglifts and bulking should be stickied as advice for new lifters who just wanna look good

This one is definitely not cringe. Countless pro's, especially powerlifters have log books from all their years of training. I'd even say its essential for powerlifting.
