Not sure what kind of security guard would let someone come into the store and throw glass bottles at customers. Pretty sure target is going to side with this guy in the video. Garuntee there won't be any type of lawsuit.

Means laws in america are different than in Canada. Anyways, yes is i were not working, i would hve done the same as what you stated. However working on the clock, and abiding by store policy (which usually trumps/is more strict than law), he would be in some trouble

tackling bishes is harder than it looks. you can't do it as violently as you would with a man. they'd get killed.

Just lol at this game plan from 1992.

I would have pulled half guard and just stalled until the police turn up and then claim I won on points.

At some point I would have gone back to full guard, shot up for a triangle, farted in her face, then back to half guard.

Surprised by anyone saying the security shouldn't have gotten physical with her. The moment she started throwing items at another shopper is the moment she should have been stopped. Especially after she picked up that glass jar. What do you think is worse, a security guard lawfully detaining a crazy bish, or security standing there and letting said crazy bish chuck a glass jar at someone's head and causing potentially serious injury?

Yes, while acting on behalf of the store. Policy is stricter than law, and therefore the company can do as they see fit. He didnt approach from the front, he cuffed while on the ground, and he didnt de escalate the situation. Legally he was fine, but by store policy he was not

What sucks is that for PR reasons, Target will probably have to fire him even though he technically did the right thing. Now days supermarket and grocery store security is only there topotentiallydeter theft (by simply having a presence) not to actually intervene in a confrontation. In a situation like this they'd probably prefer that the security call the cops just like anyone else would.
