So their complaints were: punctuality, lack of motivation, and lack of a sense of urgency with your work.

Punctuality: why were you late the two times you were? I would always aim to arrive at work 10-15 min before I have to. If traffic is bad I give myself a 30 min buffer zone.

Lack of motivation: sometimes this just means you're not talking about ways to improve your work performance to your supervisor enough, try to ask them how can you help, etc. to show that you want to stay and that doing well at this job means something to you (even if it doesn't).

Sense of urgency: are you slow at work because you're miscing too much? Socializing too much, or just medication issues? You know what to do if you just misc too much, socializing can be done outside of work. If it's medication, I would mention it at your next doctor appointment to see if they can help.

Best of luck zhengterry, sometimes life is tough, just gotta choochoo right through!

Srs though, don't think too much of it. Retail jobs are filled with the most subhuman scum on Earth, those *******s are literally worse than tradies srs. Although if you're actually getting let go for unsatisfactory performance then yeah that's pretty bad. You literally have to try to get fired from retail brah I don't see how you can be that shtty, I'm thinking it was for other reasons srs. Was your previous workplace filled with women?
lol my previous job was this new local business where we buy used clothes and sell them for a mark up. lol ill be honest, i did smoke up a few times before work and that turns me into a total autist because i have trouble breathing normally.

also ate one of my managers uncle ben rice for some reason lol. i was actually a key holder too.

well one time i thought i started 30 mins after my actual shift. told my manager the next day and she said alright its ok, good to know, blah blah blah.

my last two shifts including tonights i was early 5-10 mins cuz last week she told me i cant keep being 5 mins late for my shifts. id thought shed notice me coming early.

i think i wrote my comments on the evaluation sheet pretty well. i think it went something like this "I like working with customers at sears and my co-workers and managers. I will strive to do the best and fix what is unacceptable. thank you for the opportunity to do so". i still have a 60 and 90 day evaluation coming up.

i only misced last shift because i was closing by myself and i had to help a lot of customers (everything gets recorded) so i did slack off on building furniture.

socializing? one of the criticism is im actually too quiet at work. my medication is fine. i just take an anti-psychotic now and i dont have any side effects.

i dont know why my manager thinks im slow at work. she thinks i take my time getting back to the dock so ill definitely move my ass a lot more.

thx trinnie, definitely gonna get the ball rolling and improve my performance. just glad i get the 30/60/90 evaluation so i have the opportunity to do so.

You're really not doing yourself any favors. I'm 100% in favor of legal green meds but there are cases where it should be ABSOLUTELY avoided. It's been known to trigger mental health issues in people predisposed to it.

If you're diagnosed with psychosis please stay on your meds and don't take anything else. Again I'm not anti drug use, in fact I think most of even harder ones should be legal. However there are exceptions.

What you're doing is similar to someone with a liver disease who continues to drink alcohol. Stop it.

yea man, definitely gonna smoke during my spare time at home.

i can handle my psychosis. i just have weird thoughts that makes me wanna try to connect things. doesnt necessarily make my psychosis worse aside from me being allergic to it.

Well there you go *******, don't blaze before work if you know it phuks with you. When I worked retail at a big chain store I used to burn literally everyday at lunch (worked night shift). I was the most productive ******* there, but I was like you and I didn't talk a lot. If you care about moving up in rank at these ******* jobs then you gotta talk a lot and kiss ass, productivity doesn't mean sht.

A couple of months after I left one of the dudes that still worked there contacted me and told me that they wanted me back and I can literally come back any time and have a job waiting for me there. When I left I didn't give them any notice and didn't even answer their calls (I don't recommend doing this). I blazed cuz I knew it wouldn't affect my productivity and I was bored as phuk (plus I was getting blazed for free from this jamaican dude that worked there).

Just don't be a dumbass brah, go to work and do your sht. If you wanna burn then burn after work, it's much more satisfying that way anyway. Especially if you're paying for your own sht, work is a waste of bud and high. Lol don't misc either, you're not missing anything brah. You've been here long enough to know what a toxic shthole misc is.

lol funny story. for me long gone are the days of smoking and not having anxiety x100. sometimes i still do it before hanging out with ppl and i dont know why i still do. when i first blazed up in high school it was such a great moment so my mind gravitates towards that feeling.

This is exactly what I said. Every car thread he made I tried to sway him away from a ******* maxima but alas he picks literally the worst choice possible. Strong waste of 40k, those new ones look like phuking Kias. His other choice was a RED AUTO 370z. Honestly thought he was trolling at one point, he literally picks the most ******* option possible.

I honestly believe that if you work on being punctual it will help you in your other aspects of your performance.

You may be doing things slow and learning, but if you come early you have time to mentally prepare for the day. You also give your manager a more positive perception of you. Unless your manager gave you quantifiable and measurable objectives, a lot of your performance is based on his own perception of you as a work as well as your peers.

Keep that in mind and best of luck. We've all been there.

definitely gonna show up 10-15 mins early from now on.

and i agree its not quantifiable aside from punctuality. gonna talk more, ask more questions.

this psychosis sucks man. sometimes in the middle of normal dialoguef i get bad thoughts/guilty conscience for whatever reason.

eg. 'here, terry, is where the key is for the lock'

i just know i have this stupid look in my eyes/face that says im a criminal or something. maybe thats the psychosis talking but its not a positive thing... if u catch my drift?
