There's no way. That's not a twist in the show; that's just a glaring inconsistency in the plot. It makes zero sense.
Maybe tearing the family apart then siding with the enemy?

Pretty sure his family, or at least Cersei, ishis enemy.

Going to miscarriage. The witch told her she'd have three children, not four.

Either way, no way he betrays Dany all because Cersei is pregnant. For goodness sake Jaime just left Cersei to join the fight against the NK.

Can someone explain Raisan Bran's powers to me. He can see the past and he can see the present but not the future. Can he only see the past/present when he has the picture of whatever is going on/happening in his mind? Like he can't see what went on 50 years ago in Winterfell, but he can see what happened 50 years ago between his Dad and Mum the first day that they met.

Rofl the writing has gone to chit. They kill off the master schemer little finger in the laziest way possible. As soon as he saw all the weird chit at winterfell, like bran going full autistic and arya being some ninja warrior, he would have noped out of there back to the vale. I seriously don't know how they are going to wrap everything up in 7 episodes next season. I hope it doesn't turn into a zombie show just set in westeros. It probably will. All the cunning political drama that made the show in the early seasons is completely gone now.

That'd be too easy a death for Cersei...she has to die way more fantastically, I'm guessing. I think it will be due to uprising, or someone on the inner circle (like Jaime as you alluded to). Just my guess.

She's going in the direction of the Mad King, so it has to be something big.

No, he can see anything. Hence how he saw Rhaegar and Lyanna's wedding.

Littlefinger's fault was his unrelenting push for more power. That he died in the process was arguably just a matter of time.

I agree that one more season of just 6-8 episodes is way insufficient. Robb's war alone lasted 2 seasons, so the fact that the war with the NK will only last a season, and a shortened one, makes no sense. That's assuming the war lasts the entirety of the season, too. This has been considered the most absolute threat to mankind, despite being seen as mythical by most. They can't nerf it too much otherwise it will have been way too overhyped.

Needs 2 more seasons.

Tywin always talked about securing the family legacy too. Right now, Cersei is carrying that legacy. I could see that being what turns Tyrion. He cares about his family, and he is supposed to be the most similar of all his siblings to Tywin.

Jesus some of you brahs have gone full potato when it comes to LF. He only wants 2 things in the world: power and catelyns and then sansas sugar walls and he was scheming for both in winterfell and paid the price.

It would have been legit the most unlittle LF thing to do if he went "nah bro I'm sweet with the vale" and then left.

Pretty sure Tywin would scold the hell out of Cersei for the decisions she's made.

Sure he would, but he would also do all he can to make sure his grandchild sees the light of day. There was nothing more important than the Lannister legacy to him.

No of course she was always going to follow birthright. The only reason they were "hinting at" anything else was because she was certain she couldn't have children, and that they were discussing what might happen if she died since she didn't have any children.

All this bitch cares about is her birthright to the throne. Lol @ thinking she's all of a sudden going to go for democracy

Except unbeknownst to her, it's technically Jon's birthright. So if she feels that strongly that the Targaryens deserve the throne, it wouldn't go to her.

the season had its moments but overall it felt like a step down in terms of writing. OP dragon flying mach V firing wall destroying fire & the Nights watch is basically useless.

That really bugged me when she was going about how Tyrion "betrayed his family". None of it made any sense

Tyrion's family betrayedhim. He only did what he had to to survive.

They cannot be stopped and if we see anything else other than a complete demolishing of dothraki and unsullied then the show is a failure.

You cannot build up this army the way you did at hardhome only for them to be defeated by a bunch of humans. I mean they were climbing on walls, buildings, fences etc. All sorts of craziness. I hope they dont go potato and make them look inept in season 8.

i felt like jon snow got rid of that white walker mini boss too easily back in the semi final ep, they are thousands of years old, i get that they are surprised when valyrian steel parry's their swords but still.

Also i was hoping that the "night king" was only a general and there was a de-facto palpatine type of guy pulling the strings, the end would reveal him wearing armor with the stark's ancient sigil was he climb on top of viserion and rode for the wall, that would've been a twist alright.

bran "cheat codes" stark, during his trial they knew everything he had done, from poisoning jon arryn and manipulating lisa arryn to lie to ned stark, as well as incriminating tyrion lannister and therefore ultimately getting ned stark executioned and starting the war of 5 kings, etc etc, he was done the moment Bran came back from the north, no way midget arya and sansa could ever outwit him. In a way that scene pretty much served as a metaphor how the show's political drama came to an end and magic lotr chit is taking the lead by having the guy who manipulated everyone have his plans foiled by tree magic.

It was during the game of faces scene. Sansa was uncertain but when Arya went on that rant about wondering about what it would be like to be the lady of winterfell and then gave her the knife, Sansa realized Arya was not trying to kill her.

If you remember in S1 Arya was sword fighting with the baker kid when Joffrey came along and ruined their game. Sansa remembered how Arya never wanted to be girly, so Littlefingers counsel was clearly a ploy.
