the criminal ran into him, suicide while running from the police.
the truck driver did nothing wrong and was an innocent bystander.

Post-accident:
CDL drivers must be drug and alcohol tested whenever they are involved in a fatal accident, or receive a traffic citation resulting from an injury or vehicle-disabling accident. The alcohol test must occur within 8 hours, and the drug test must occur within 32 hours.

You posted the employer requirements before they let an employee go back to work, not the same as a criminal investigation champ

its at the top.
tell me again why you thought it would be rational for lawyers working for a multi million dollar hospital to draft up protocols that attempt to supercede federal regulations when it would only be at the hospitals expense.
and also why the police station would agree to them..........................

I've been let go multiple times with warnings on traffic violations when the cop finds out i'm a nurse.
"Never know, I might need your help soon," is what a cop told me once when he let me go.

If he doesn't comply with the CDL requirement, he loses his license. It doesn't mean the cops have the authority to make him take a test, nor can they force the hospital to provide a blood sample without a warrant.

Cops need to be held to a higher standard than the crap in this video. I'm not saying you have to treat everyone with kid gloves but this was an obvious case of overreach.

Not only is that bad enough on it's own, but then try to put the nurse under arrest for what? Exigent circumstance is VERY shaky ground in this case to begin with, you have to reach pretty hard to claim she obstructed an investigation when they had no reasonable suspicion and no warrant.

I gotto go to sleep but word of advice: do a little self-reflection and recognize your bias that is evident in this thread. You'll be a better man for it, not a lesser one. Not trying to be a dik, I try my best to do this myself. We all have biases, and the person who stands to benefit the most from recognizing the bias is oneself.

lol @ your BS rules.
- guy is in coma
- Nurse has rules to go by
- police don't care
-????????????????????????
- Lets arrest the nurse for doing her job in front of the people who one day could be saving our lives!
If the police do that to health staff who are busy 24/7 and up the arse with rules then its no wonder US police have problems. But sure the truck driver in a coma has to give blood because he has a commercial licence.
lol. Anyone will stick up for ****ty cops if they are in love with them. Stockholme syndrome.
