Completely different - - Harvey was a stationary storm. This one is moving a bit quicker.

Harvey was primarily a rain threat. This one is going to be a storm surge/wind threat. If it comes up and hits SE FL it's goodnight Miami/Boca.

This one bears some watching for my area too , a few of those models have it head right for/through my area . Let's hope it just heads out to sea .

From what I see it's going right in-between Cuba and Florida, which if it follows that path it's going right to Houston. I definitely don't want it to go there, but if it cuts North after it hits the keys it's coming right to me

A lot of models showing it going over the islands and Cuba, cant imagine the storm being over a Cat 2 at most after going through all that.

Hope it doesn't hit SC like projections show... Glad I'm not in Charleston atm but my fam is and will have to evacuate to upstate up here if so. So tired of historic Charleston getting tore up by these hurricanes!
Height/Weight: Undisclosed to prevent possible triggering.

Projected landfall keeps moving further and further west. If this thing enters the gulf as a Cat 4 we better all pray it doesn't hit a major city. The gulf is super warm and will intensify it to a Cat5. This thing has the potential to be by far the worst natural disaster in US history. If you live anywhere along the central/eastern gulf coast you need to start gathering supplies today.
