1. Take on board what she has said, disregard and go on the date with her anyway. Make your move when you feel you can anyway. But never ever tell them you plan on making a move. Act as if you just get caught up in the moment.

2. Save yourself a lot of time and tell her "No thanks geoff". Odds that you will smash are remote anyway.

There are no other options. Live and learn.
