Halo 2: Would play it 8+ daily and would have to force myself to get some food since I didn't get hungry during game play. Would have "Halo Nights" with buds. Would play it til I have to leave for work and was late several times but since I was such a great employee at my previous job, they always let it slide.
Best game ever.
Best game ever.

I remember yelling at my parents from the computer in my little brothers room that he can't go to bed because I still haven't beaten a level.
And reps to anyone who also sunk hours upon hours into Ray's Maze.

First I could say I was really addicted to was Final Fantasy 7, I had two separate files with around 90 hours of game play each.
Both ended up getting corrupted.
Next after that was Madden, played for the first time on PS2 and was ****ing HOOKED.
I'm talking I'd play for days on end, watch online vids and TV shows for strategy, had teams, player ratings, height, weight, etc. memorized, solely played that for a good 6-7 years.

Tough one for me. I certainly played SNES games growing up, but I think it is later games that I became addicted. Between the original Super Smash Bros for N64, Golden-Eye, Pokemon Blue and Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Certainly when Halo 1 came out, I was addicted to playing that game through Xbox Connect to play system link with people around the world; that was before Xbox Live was even created. I think more than any other game at that point in my life, I was addicted to playing Halo 1 through system link with other people. It was the first online video game I had ever played. Online games were new back in those days.

I've been gaming since I was 3 years old dead srs.
I have no clue what the first one was..hmmm
Maybe Dragon Warrior on NES (dragon quest I)
Played the hell out of FFVII (was my first FF like for so many others). Ended up emulating the earlier FF's during middleschool and played the chit out of all of them.
Of all time though I would say Diablo 2 LOD was the most addicting for me.
