That would give you a rifle near $3k. You already have a scope.
$7k estimate on mine also includes the $1k I have in my bipod and scope mount. Certainly cheaper routes to go.
All that said, the RPR has a few companies making prefit barrels for them. PVA and LRI are a couple. Definitely a good route to go if you like AR15 ergos and accessories.

One thing I don't like about them is the rail over the barrel. Makes it hard to get a 50mm scope close to the barrel. That was a DQ when I was trying to decide on a chassis.

Good. My dad’s family and relatives used to live in Raqqa. The city my family is from was finally freed from ISIS recently and all their trapped family were finally able to leave and move to other cities. Brb controlling a city by surrounding it. Brb caught escaping = execution

all the MFC - DIY project brahs need your help - just made a coffee table out of some pallets that i broke down, rebuilt, and stained to look like old grey barnwood
I now want to spray some kind of clear coat so that if anything spills it will help not fuk up the finish we have. I'd like to preserve the "old wood" look with this, so do they matte/flat sealants? what should i look for ?

Considering taking a "Gunfighter Carbine" course by Fieldcraft in December. The description is:
Fundamentals of gun fighting, build the warrior mind set and skill sets to effectively shoot, move, and communicate with a carbine.
Just feel like the training I'm getting from the military isn't really too involved and is very baseline (shocker), and I'd like to be more well versed in it. Plus, it's $150 for LEOs, so it's not a bad deal.|USAF K9 Crew|

We bolt gun crew now?
RPR is hard to beat for a budget out-of-the-box entry level rifle.
Something new and shiny to consider at the $2k mark, Christensen Arms just announced the Modern Precision Rifle

PS - got the GAP Crusader out for the first time. Barrel has 4200 rounds on it. Was getting 2650 with FGMM. Some fliers in there, but pretty happy given the round count and for the first time behind the rifle.

So I started reading the Colt Trooper thread on M4C after finding a photo there moe asked for yesterday...that damn rifle was as low as $705 shipped from Grab a Gun in September.
-Excess speed is so dangerous
-So many say "came out of nowhere"
-I have a 4,500 lb bare minimum curb weight for vehicles
-Dash camera footage can be so valuable
-People can honestly say "I don't know what happened" even if they were paying attention reasonably well

Gen IV G19 is at $499.99, with a "get a quote" option for a lower price at Grabagun. Great op if you don't have one.https://grabagun.com/glock-19-gen4-9...magazines.html
