These people wouldnt have held up to this point either. I sold my ETH too soon, and it wasnt even that soon. Having life changing money fluctuate up and down in a volatile market and holding steady is not easy.

Did you ever buy back in brah?

I plan on holding for quite some time. Only issue is I have Google authenticator on my phone and I'm afraid of losing my phone or it dying on me and me losing access to my account. I got the password written down they gave me but i read somewhere that people were still having problems accessing their account with just that alone?

I must say though with all the good news regarding ETH recently I thought it would bump up in price but it's been pretty steady. Just have to be patient I suppose.

Let me know when anyone actually gets real money for that shiet, or when you can actually buy property with it.

lol all you people claiming you missed out. This is just the start folks. In the next 10 odd years we could easily see 50-100k/coin if mass adoption takes over and major players, investors, and countries adopt blockchain.

I jump in and out with a small stack, I only trade eth and bat though. The price action in the last week has been a bunch of bull**** though thanks to bitcoin cucking everyone.

Misc crypto thread. Once you get the basics it is really easy. Way too easy in fact it is a fukking money pit if you are not careful. Like you the first time I ever even heard of btc was when it was $9/coin. The first time I considered buying it was around $200. Actually almost went through ordering at $300 but cancelled last minute.

When it hit $1000, I thought I missed the boat. When it hit $2000 I legit hated myself for not buying in at $300. There are tons of people like us with the same stories. You are definitely not early but I don't think you are too late either. Been buying small amounts since the summer. Went ahead and bought in a huge last week and some more this week.

I think by this time next year it will hit $10k srs.

I bought a few eth coins when it was still cheap. If that blows up then I'll be there with you. But I think the big money is in bitcoin just because it has that name recognition. Would not waste my money on alt coins. Just stick with the main players like bitcoin, ethereum, etc.

This thread makes me happy knowing still a lot of clueless folks out there that know nothing about blockchain/cryptocurrency. Just goes to show that cryptocurrency is still in its infant stage and has ALOT of room to grow.

I only put in an amount I can lose. I am just holding and not selling. Gonna see what happens in the next 2-3 years before even considering selling. There are two major forks happening soon. One on Oct 25th (bitcoin gold) and another mid Nov (segwit2x). I made sure to get it before then.

No one knows what will happen for sure post forks but the last time it happened in August (bitcoin cash) it returned a chitton of money to holders. So I am banking on that.

But it's only worth more money if you can find someone to pay you that much for it right? Since In actuality it has 0 value. How does a transfer work, how do you sell it and get cash?

And if you're trading it for cash, it's not really currency then is it? Its a product

Barely anyone who I talk to even knows about crypto currencies. Some have heard about bitcoin in passing but that's about it. Yeah we are definitely not early to the party like those people who got in when it was still under $100/coin. But I don't think we are too late either. If btc and eth blows up in the next few years I could legit retire at age 40.

But those are pipe dreams. I am just along for the ride. No matter what happens I will have no regrets. Even if I lose everything, it would suck, but greater the dream the greater the risk and sacrifice you have to make.
