When girls compare beards to makeup.

Does this rustle anyone else?

It's a genetic gift vs a purchased product. Not all men can grow a beard, but all women can purchase makeup. How is it even remotely the same?

Just lol.

yes because beards actually usually look bad on most guys and makes many of them look worse. Only a select few men have the proper beard genetics and facial structure for a beard to really enhance their look. Usually its a guy who already looks really good in the first place like Nick Bateman who just leaves humanity behind when he runs heavy stubble game meanwhile makeup can enhance any girl by quite a bit. With makeup girls can acquire a top tier eye area and glowing skin that radically improves their appearance. With makeup a girl can transform herself from subhuman to Stacy.

My wife thinks my beard is as necessary as her makeup. I get hit on by too many women when I don't have one and, she doesn't like it.

It depends on what the conversation is. I know a lot of guys who use the beard to hide their terrible face genetics. Makeup/beards are just coping.

Make up is socially expected of most of us. Better comparison would be to guys being groomed/shaved/wearing a nice suit.

I once worked at a law firm and was pulled aside and told to put on lipstick because it was more professional looking.

I'd rather not wear it but when every other chick around you is wearing it you tend to feel dumpy without it.

Thick beards are coping for being ugly, stubble is a different story.

So many neckbeard run thick beards since they have no jawline and it's literally covering half their face. In that way it's even more cope than makeup.

This is cope, brah. Sorry.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

TFW I can't even grow a beard srs. I just have patches here and there that don't connect, so I'm clean shaven most of the time.

Luckily my facial structure is decent so it's not too big of a deal.

But it's GENETIC. You have to have a GOOD GENETIC BLESSING of a beard to "cope".

Yea but the point is one day you may shave that beard, and the girl is absolutely shocked to find there's an ugly fuk underneath it.

No different then a guy getting shocked when the girl washes off her makeup , and sees a troll

Dudes who call beards cope are just low t bitches with chitty beard genetics that are mad that their chin looks like a nutsack when their scraggly limp pube like facial hair grows out

Would a better comparison be men hiding their receding hairlines under hats? I know hiding snaggle teeth and a luck of chin can be a bit too much. Them there superior beard genetics more than make up for it.

Maybe it's just the rich, yuppy circles I grew up in. My grandmother is always horrified when I go out to society events with no lippy.

But then, mascara and lippy is all I care to do. I can't stand feeling like I can't touch my face because I might swipe off a pound of cement.

I don't get modern make up trends at all. Who tf finds those gigantic eyebrows attractive?
