Spiderman Homecoming is the best Marvel film since... idk does Deadpool count? Not really, I know, whatever. But it was GOOD. A solid two tiers above this Thor bullchit, no offense. It had real heart, charm, and a solid dose of RDJ. Sort of vintage/classic Marvel vibe, and the playful tone of the franchise is a good fit for a teenage protag. Marvel's heart is the underdog, and Spiderman is an underdog (underspider?). Thor's strength is precisely what Marvel doesn't know what to do with. They go with making him goofy, but that doesn't seem quite right either. He's fine in an ensemble with the Avengers, but cannot, imho, carry his own films.

Speaking of Homecoming I just checked out the trailer on Amazon and it seems appealing enough. I'll guess I'll watch it tonight and report back. Warning: Negs all around if I waste my $5.99

Yeah, I didn't even see the 2nd Thor tbh. Heard it was just too awful.

ETA: and while I find Jeff Goldblum amusing, his louche campiness contributed to the kind of lulling tone of some of the movie... I was legit BORED when an action scene wasn't immediately onscreen.

I did really like the action, though. And I loved that moment when Thor told the story about Loki and the snake. More of that would be good.

Thor turning into a frog became cannon too in that movie lmao

Snake part was funny and Loki always Amazing. Idk I like GotG so this movie was a hit for me since they follow the same blue print. Infinity wars and Black Panther will more serious it seems

I cannot WAIT for those. Infinity Wars because are we going to get Bucky!Cap? (OH and they were totally setting that up with Loki eyeing the Cosmic Cube when he was going to get the crown for Ragnarok btw...)

And Black Panther looks amazing from the trailer. Really cool visuals, great main cast, interesting setting.

LOL what I want is for Sleipnir to become canon.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SleipnirAKA Loki turns into female horse and gives birth to monster 8-legged horse. WTF were those ancient Nordic people smoking, I want some.

Loki 100% has the space stone as we see him hand it to someone during the trailer

Black Panther will be awesome no doubt, idk about infinity stone hopefully it's like avengers 1 and not like age of ultron lmao

Lol that 8 horse thing I forgot that existed, they were smoking the good green stuff

It's not going to be directed by Joss Whedon so I think we're safe.

Why do you hate whedon so much? justice league's dialogue was changed a lot when whedon came it, according to reports. Some dc fans are angry about this. They dont want it to be like Avengers.

It is also rumored that Warner is already planning an Ultimate Cut for justice league on Blu-ray.

I enjoyed the movie but I am getting tired of super hero movies turning into a comedy. Yes the jokes were funny but its a super hero movie about a god whose home planet gets destroyed and they managed to make it into something funny?

Spoiler!
There was so much comedy that i thought it was random as **** when thor loss his eyes

Can't wait for Justice League. Hopefully they make that darker and more serious. But then again, Marvel is owned by disney so I guess it makes sense

Movie was a waste of my time.

All jokes were predictable and not funny. I was so agitated by the stupid jokes that when Stan Lee showed up, I was not laughing at all. Which his scene was super fun. I really wanted to walk out of this movie.

Spoiler!
BRB. Sutur is talking about wiping out your whole civilization and you can only joke about it., thus ruining the epiciness for when Sultur actually does it. I called every single epic moment in this stupid movie. The writing was just super predictable and made for children with low attention spans. The only thing that surprised me was Thor losing his eye.

Plots holes were bothersom. Changing Korg and Meek was stupid and not necessary.

I'm not going to keep on going. If you like this movie. Then I see you are like those that loved the show "Ow! My balls!".

I really hope that Black Panther and Infinity isn't a laugh fest like this.

Leave it to Marvel to turn family death, genocide, and mass murders into a comedy.
"Don't be envious when the grass is greener on the other side because you don't know how much crap it took to fertilize that ground.

Are you ready? "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins. (John 8:24).
