Apple still buys a lot of their materials from China, who does not enforce human rights laws. The chinese corporations employ slavedrivers to enslave African people to mine the raw resources used. Our tech industry is built on slavery. Remember that next time you worship a material consumer product, which btw isn't even that fantastic or impressive of a piece of engineering. Your newest graphics card, while also created through slavery, is a far more impressive work of engineering.

I'm not protesting anything, and you people are the definition of cope. You cope with your knowledge of the exploitation and cuckery by pretending that it's okay, and ignoring it. The phone is a phucking consumer product, and not even that impressive of one at that. Get over yourselves. Focus on something important and worthwhile. And yes, I use consumer products just like everyone else. The difference is that I do not worship them. For example, I am using a Samsung S5. That phone was built via slave labor just like Apple's phones are. I have made good use of it, but I have no illusions about what it is or what it took to make it. It is a piece of technology that is now in my hands, and I know and appreciate what was done to make it and who was exploited to make it. I will not honor this phone. In many ways it represents a destruction of my privacy, and the corruption and degeneracy of the world. You need to keep perspective on everything you buy. Walmart, Apple, Exxon, etc...pretty much every major company has exploited somebody. Before you lemmings mindlessly worship them, you should at least make some effort to understand what was sacrificed or taken in order to make the product. Same goes for governments, etc.

Actually I guess I am protesting something. I am protesting human stupidity -- the desire to blindly pledge your allegiance and throw your faith and support behind something without really understanding what that group actually represents. But my protests will fall on deaf ears of course. Enjoy your toy. BTW none of these major companies would have nearly so much wealth, influence, and success if we lived in a real competitive free market. But unfortunately, it's a few crooked firms dominating everything in every sector because of libcuck *******s and big business conservatives who failed economics or who understand it well enough to ruthlessly profit from the stupidity of others.

lol time to move away from a capitalistic country boyo. cope harder. you do realize a lot of these companies who exploit cheap labor actually give jobs to people who otherwise can't find a job? yeah to us it seems pretty low to pay someone $30 a day to make iPhones but these workers came from farms that make $30 in a year. So now these people can at least provide for their family back at home making 10x what the farm makes annually.

everything you wear, eat, use, has exploited labor in some way. the computer you use? the phone you use? the shoes you wear? cope harder you hypocrite

I am completely aware of this bro. As I said before. Perspective is important. I can't change the country I live in (it's not like any other place is better, and this is my home. Plus where would I go where it would be any different?) I choose to use these products and services. I know well what it took to make them. I will at least acknowledge that it is happening and not blindly worship it. I still will criticize it, and I still will advocate for a better way. Rather than cope and pretend like it doesn't matter, we can at least acknowledge it is happening. Maybe one day, we can figure out a way to do something about it.

Again, I am fully aware of all of the exploitation used, as I have stated multiple times. I am not a hypocrite for doing these things. For example, I eat meat, but wouldn't personally bother to kill an animal unless I were starving. I'm not going to rejoice in its suffering. I know what it took to get the meat I eat. I know all about the horrible factory farms, etc. I eat it because I value the protein I get, and it happens to be the best and most economical source for me. In the same way, I use these products because I value their benefit to me, but I have no illusions about what it took to make them. I am not going to sit here and blindly praise them to cope with the reality of living in an imperfect world. I use them in shame and regret, knowing and wishing that there were a better way.

Also, many of those workers are not being paid at all except for food, and are being threatened by warlords and forced to work. You are the one coping by refusing to at least even acknowledge the issue. How can you celebrate the product knowing full well what happened? How can you blindly throw your loyalty behind a corporation or a country? You're a phucking cuck. If you understood economics at all, you would see how phucked our society is and how far from a free market it is. You speak of capitalism. Yeah sure, we have "capitalism" in the sense of private ownership of capital, but we are by no means anything resembling a competitive and free market capitalist society. As long as patents, trademarks, and copyrights retain their scopes and as long as economies of scale are allowed to grow without bound and become married to our government, we will never have true competition in any sector in our economy.

So go phuck yourself, you cucked little shill. You think that by idolizing these groups or worshiping these material products that you will somehow have a better life or maybe become one of the wealthy few in power. You're a joke....a monkey imitating his zookeepers. One day, you will wake up and learn to see the product for what it really is. A damn phone, built from exploitation, that required some amount of work to create and is ultimately just another consumer product. Nothing more, and nothing less.

TLDR:
