Reason being is that multiple big accounts can influence a chart. When you have a paid group (or 2, 3, 4) looking at the same chart and seeing a rising wedge forming, it's easy to order everyone to buy in and then when price breaks resistance for 30 seconds and everyone reacts how they normally should (buy), the groups dump. Not worth it to me anymore. I buy based off of support and resistance lines now and stay away from MACD, Stoch, Ichi, EMAs, etc.
More power to you - there's a million ways to trade, I've found one that minimizes my losses.

My favorite indicators when I was using TA were 13 EMA and Stoch RSI. The thing is crypto moves video game fast so if you're trading alts you really have to be on your fukking A game if you're trading on the 1m & 5m charts.
The only indicator I use now is volume. And the deepest I go into TA anymore is trend lines & support/resistance lines. That's it. Haha

So from what I've read, if Parity cannot fix the issue the only way to recover the $300mm in funds is by forking ETH. I can see this being a huge blow to crypto, fork or no fork.

So, if you just lost a bunch of eth because of a security issue what would you do? I'd most likely get anything else out of Eth and try to make it back somewhere else.

with how many coins are in circulation and its marketcap, i can see that being quite a while for cardano. even though, off of the top of my head, it appeared out of nowhere and it established itself where it is now
easier money could be made at lower marketcaps

This isn't Parity's first major bug. The devs made some schoolboy mistakes the last exploit - I haven't read the details on this one yet. In a perfect world, it should only hurt Parity.

Really liking Gemini so far. Their website is very user friendly and their support is good. They send security messages for every action and their emails are concise and well written etc.

I think I like Binance the most right now, but Kucoin seems to be getting some good alt coin listings and they already announced they will give B2X to their customers. Now if only they could get larger volume.

I mean where do they draw the line? Suppose I make a smart contract holding a few thousand dollars. I **** up the code and lock myself out. Can I ask Vitalik to bail me out?
That's bull****, they should let them think twice about their code before bailing them out yet again.
