So much this. I think its going to happen and its going to send shockwaves through the market. BCH might be superior but this is a hostile takeover and its the people that will get burned. So bad for business I don't know how they think this will be a good idea long term...

china ban knocked it to 3k huh? and then btc climbed back up to that range pre-fork?

Imagine if BCH and BTC ended up on par... holy fuk
Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.

i think the next big thing for wtc is supposed to be january - with the release of their blockchain and wallet

its alpha testing right now

HOWEVER, i did see somewhere that wtc hinted that they could be added to another exchange before then. i believe there are things they could announce from now until january

Wouldn't be an overnight thing. Whichever one people use most will retain the name Bitcoin and life will go on.

lmao, exactly.
Bitcoin and Bitcoin cash need to go away and duke it out and just let our alts be, with ETH being the main trading pair. No drama there.

you say that now, but if this can happen once then it would happen again with whatever came after.

I think if bcash wins this there is no going back to the 'just hold' theory because everything is a moving target and built on sand.

I'd probably pull out of BCH back into BTC in about 16 hours. Mining difficulty will be worse than BTC and miners will switch back to it.

I remember when ETH was close to "the flippening".

Not too worried about BCH taking over, just don't like all the drama that comes with it (also i didnt catch the pump). Just want to go back to alt bull market

Due to the centralization of core?

This whole thing has my head spinning.

I don't keep up with bitcoin though and thought I never would. But I can't help but feel like I'm missing an opportunity here.

Something just doesn't add up..

BCC has been around for awhile now..

Why now is it being pumped?

This and ETC..

It seriously just doesn't make sense..
