Actually, I'm more entertained by the animated feature than most of the movies. Their stories are so much better, although this one in particular was somewhat underwhelming. If you get a chance, Young Justice League is by far the best animation ever.

Im actually good with it. Similar characters like from Prisoners. Dark and cynical but wanting the bad guys gone. One of my favorite actors. Nightcrawler and Prisoners redeemed me for him.

Would be a pity, Affleck is awesome in "both" roles of Wayne/Batman, Gyllenhaal is a great actor, but he would just look off, he still has a goofy vibe.

I love jake gyllenhaal (no homo) but not sure if this role is right for him. But then again, christian bale looks nothing like batman but he still did a great job

And I actually thought affleck was a good batman. Why does he want to leave?

They should make a Batman Year One movie or something similar. Matt Reeves could make an amazing trilogy story. Just look at Of The Apes Trilogy movies. Gyllenhall is a good choice

Because that would be a trash movie and a waste of time, Anime should be left animated or least let the Japanese do it. Same with most video game movie adaptations.

Affleck hasn't been bad, it's really the writing so far. Just compare how much personality they allowed both Thor and the Hulk in Ragnorak, versus what D does outside of WW.

Not having Superman also sucks. I loved the old Reeves movies because we saw lots of Clark Kent and the character had some depth. We liked Bale as batman because we saw lots of Bruce Wayne and knew his motivations. We liked WW because we saw Diana Prince grow into WW. Modern DC focuses way too little on character development
