I may be in the minority but my 8+ just works on the latest iOS 11 beta with 0 issues and no slowdowns/stutters.

Went Android in 2009 then iphone 4s, then every galaxy since (5,6,7,8) before getting iPhone X. iPhone X feels more premium than the S8, but performance is about the same. iPhone X battery ****s all over my s8 or even my s7e despite being way larger batteries.
