It isn't because they're lazy or don't know any better. They do yoga instead of putting 500 lb. on their backs because they are better at it, they do donkey kicks in the free weight area because they can manage it and that is all.MILF gym = Curves?

Yes, this is a topic I feel deeply about. I think it's really wrong when women engage in this type of misogyny, running other women down instead of building them up. I also think it's wrong when men are casually misogynistic, but if I fought every battle on that front I'd never do anything else, unfortunately. A woman should really know better.

People have to realize that we're not all looking for the same results, but we are all looking to better ourselves. We are all different, different ages, some have injuries and some have genetics going for or against them. Our one commonality is that we lift, and we are all looking to improve our strength and ourselves. That's what's important. We're all lifters, we should support each other.

Your attitude, however, SUCKS. You seem to have this need to be better than other women just because--what, you've made your career out of lifting and competing in bodybuilding? This is your JOB, right, your livelihood? You seem not to recognize that for most women, attaining substantial strength and muscularity is INCREDIBLY HARD. Most women are no lazier than most men.
Women have a harder time building strength and muscle than men do. BY A LOT. Is it any wonder that when we have to put in twice the effort for one-third the result, that we might choose a different pursuit? That more women may choose yoga or running than weights? It's what they're BETTER at. More men are better at building muscle and lifting weight. So the eff what? You're not special or better than the women who don't lift, ffs. And the women who do lift--if they don't meet your personal standards--they're still probably doing the best they can. Imagine if a bunch of women started up a thread mocking men for not doing cardio or having sh*tty flexibility. We could, actually, because that's more broadly true--that's not the gender's strength as a whole. But we don't, because misogyny is so much more common than misandry in our culture.
Look, I work my @ss off and still can't do a pullup. I plan to get there and I do plan to continue working on my lifts, but it's very, very hard for me. I can look over at my little brother and see that even though we follow a similar lifting program we get very different results, and I could use that as a reason to give up entirely, but I don't.
By the way, I can still outrun him, and I'm quite sure I could outrun you over just about any distance. We have different strengths, and women aren't dumb or lazy, and you're not special just because you chose to pursue a very narrow and particular sport that most women, incidentally, aren't naturally good at.
The reason I'm coming after you in particular is that this sanctimonious hostility is a general pattern of behavior on your part, and shame on you, because you should know better. But you do chit like go into someone's thread complaining that he felt overfull on Thanksgiving and said "I barely ate anything." And you come in here and go "lol I never see any strong women, look at me I'm speshul." This shows me that you very likely just have some sort of superiority complex.
But don't turn it into this sick self-hating misogyny, too.

Not going to get too far into this, but Kimm has done a lot over the years for women on this site... I think she just comes across strongly and is passionate about lifting... (NO WK, in for potential female MISCer battle royale)

Read a few posts and saw some females start posting
I'm guessing this is another chat thread now with guys being extra friendly and posting in a different manner?

depends on the gym though
the more generic "fitness centres" / chains do pull in a good number of girls
as oppossed to the old school true lifting style gyms, old hammerstrength kit/iron weights etc

cope. all they need is lululemons and the latest trendiest shoes, full makeup, and a choker. and to do weird exercises that all showcase her ass to not only the rest of the gym, but more importnatly, to her equally dressed sloot friend in the corner holding an iphone taking instagram pics

Shesprints ..have to say I'm a bit stunned by that post. I have very different goals from Kim, aesthetically and lifting wise, and I've never perceived anything but help and support and humour in her posts. I accept that she has different experience and knowledge and that's what makes her worth reading to me. I think your accusations of misogyny, albeit well expressed, are unfair and perception biased

as much as i dislike most females in this side of the world, gotta give them props when they do chit in the free weight zone. i always have srs respect for females that do so.
i also think they should make female only gyms for that reason. in my gym all the ****in cardio machines are facing the free weight zone. so when a female goes up there and does something she's basically put on the spot in front of everyone in the gym. i feel like intimidated for the girl working with free weights up there.

They don't need to. Just look half fat in clothes, wait until marriage then let it all go. If the husband doesn't still find her attractive he is shallow and cruel. That and a 5/10 females will still get attention from Chad's if they are slooty, meanwhile 5/10 males won't be attentions acting "slooty" in front of HBBs. 5/10 opportunity - Chad: "Fuk it, I am horny maybe she gives good head" HBB: "lol gross, move peasant". Respect to females who stay fit and don't coast by on average looks.

Just got back from PF, not a lot of females (about 25%). Normally, its roughly half.
