Obama is not Black he's biracial.
Saying he's not black doesn't make the person saying it racist it's just a statement of fact like water is wet and the sky is blue. We're not talking about "herp derp everyone is mixed in america or I know Anthony and he's 4/64 black on his grandma side, I think."
Anyone denying this fact is either for or against some narrative. The same display of failed logic is currently going on with Prince Harry's new fiance, and I'm following to see how that plays out.

Mike was the face of the league and signed with Nike which was the biggest shoe brand at the time so they always hyped up his positive exploits for marketing purposes and pushed aside his compulsive gambling habits and numerous other stories of him being a complete a-hole because obviously if people found out the truth about their idol all parties involved would lose money. What Michael Jordan did on the court inspired millions. He was an icon worldwide in places where basketball isnt even a popular sport.

For the streets and urban culture probably, but if you're talking worldwide influence, it's gotta be Obama or Nelson Mandela. If you go back a couple of decades, then you got MLK.

Whites libs who speak glowingly about Tupac being one of the great American writers are so disingenuous. They would never be satisfied to exchange every book in their home for transcripts of his songs. They patronise blacks. Not to say that Tupac wasn't an intelligent man. But his talents were wasted.

Wise beyond his years for sure and that's why certain people wanted him dead rather than letting him make some real change. Not even sure why someone would say Obama is at the top of any list unless they are making a joke.

2Pac was a character, wish people would recognize this.
Born in NYC
Went to a performance arts school in BALTIMORE
Started his career as a backup dancer for D.U.
Fast forward a few years and he is "Thug Life" and rolling with bloods and claiming LA to sell records.
He was a talented rapper. Why people try to make him into something more, I don't know. Idolizing someone dumb enough to get themselves shot multiple times and ultimately killed, for no reason, no cause, other than to sell records and keep up an appearance, is just ridiculous.

As a Black Male, I am horrified as to the state of my people in the current day in the United States.
Hip-hop culture has contributed nothing but evil to Blacks. In no other race or ethnic group are misogyny, materialism, violence, and ignorance so glorified as they are in the Black community.
Think about it: the average black person in "the hood" is unemployed, or either works illegally by stealing and/or selling drugs. Do you see this in Asian and White neighborhoods? You do but not to such a large extent. Why is this? Hip-hop.
Forgive me for beating a dead horse, but on a day like yesterday where Civil Rights were celebrated via Martin Luther King and Malcom X, I couldn't help but realize what little progress my people have made, and I am ashamed.
Hip-hop and the "gangsta" culture it glorifies is nothing but a plague on us. These rappers make it cool to be a degenerate without an education, whose only option is to kill or be killed in the urban environment. To black people, life means nothing but an endless pursuit of money and sex. And don't get me started on the aggressiveness and violence that rap glorifies. Black men cannot go a wekk without getting into a fight over minimal **** like a small argument. Whereas normal human beings are logical and use their brains, black men like to shut their opponent up by beating them or shooting them.
You might say "Fall of Society, you're just exaggerating, black people aren't all like that." Well you come move to the West Side of Chicago and tell me that after you spent a few days here. It's hell, I tell you. I lived on the West Side for 20 years until I finally got a job and moved out of mommy's house, unlike every other person on my block or the school I went to. I used to sell drugs in school and was even involved in gang activity (no affiliation, I just did illegal things to get money and because I thought it was cool). I used to be a big fan of rap music (The Diplomats were my favorite), and I can tell you I listen to it now and I am disgusted. My life could have started much sooner were it not for the absolute **** I had to live through. All because of hip-hop.
Hip-hop started out positive. It used to be a way for young black men to showcase their talent by arranging words. Now it's just a chance to glorify everything wrong with black people, and to send out a horrible message of our race to everyone else. What are the White Nationalists talking about? How violent blacks are, how misogynistic we are, how materialistic and irresponsible we are. And they are for the most part right. Most Blacks in the U.S. are not good people. The best a black neighborhood can offer is a median income of 60,000 a year. Why is that? Is the White man holding us down? Please. Even with programs like Affirmative Action helping us, we still manage to be lazy and inefficient, and strive to be as low as possible. Black people consider 60,000 a year to be "the good life." I can't tell you how many times I've had conversations with blacks and they told me they would be satisfied with making $10 an hour. This is how pathetic we are.
We have no pride. All we can do is hate and complain. We have no culture. All we can do is beat our women and destroy every neighborhood we live in. Do you know why?

Problem is african american culture is influenced too heavily by pop culture, and pop culture is a horrific role model. On one side you have rappers talking about crime or struggles, and on the other side you have charlatan entertainment moguls preaching about systemic racism and a government built to hold you down. The product is a defeatist, violent populace wallowing in impoverished areas. Meanwhile, all positive black role models are diminished or completely ignored. How about idolizing businessmen like Herman Cain or non race-baiting patriots like Allen West? Or on a local level; looking towards young entrepreneurs rather than music stars and gangsters. People like these:https://tech.co/38-black-entrepreneu...tories-2015-02
I'm a minority myself but I don't buy into the bullchit about a racist america or a system designed for me to fail. It's never been a better time for ANYONE to succeed in western civilization.

The most important black person is Tyrone, who knocked up Taquisha and then decided to stay and raise that child in order to ensure that child has a better and more successful life than he did.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Yet he's still an inferior rapper to a white man in his 40's and wasn't the president, just a gay little ghetto thug getting that Thuggin' Love on the DL so he got shot.

You're gonna tell me you have a say in Black culture because you have some percentage of black in you? You sure you're a not "fake black" seeing as how you're as light skin as a white guy in your profle pic.LOL "hurr durr im ecuadorian and from da bronx I know all about dominicans!" im from the bronx too *******, and the city. So that's how I know you don't know what you're talking about. You're the fake hispanic everyone forgets about because south american hispanics have no presence in U.S culture, of course you wouldn't know what i'm talking about. And it's not just new york its everywhere, the systematic oppression of minorities goes deeper than just racism. Pick up a book or two
Also, the truth is Dominicans and Puerto Ricans aren't oppressed nearly as much as you think and are given all the opportunities to succeed even in The Bronx just as much as any other culture. You just want to believe your oppressed and has had it hard, but in reality that's not the case you just have your head up your ass. I've grown up with black, Puerto Rican, Dominican friends and others from The Bronx succeed in getting an education from college and starting a career just like anyone else could and it's all because they've gotten their head out of their asses and didn't have a victim mentality like your dumbass.

Whenever I read or hear some ******* complain about being oppressed in the U.S I cringe. I can understand blacks being pissed at racist cops or just dikheads in general, but there's cultures like the Middle Eastern people or Asians that get the same treatment too, but keep tryna make it without the victim mentality OP has.Is this normal amongst “minorities” that look like white people?
