Are you familiar with the concept of an airplane's autopilot system? Explain to me why the heading changes continuously throughout the flight to follow the Earth's curvature. If the Earth were flat and an airplane's autopilot continuously made adjustments to the airplane's heading, the airplane wouldn't reach its intended destination. It's literally being measured by a computer in real time, how is that not "measurable proof"?

There are empirical ways of measuring the small heading changes that the airplane's autopilot continuously makes to follow the curvature.
My point is that the flight path is the same whether on a sphere or on a flat earth map. The globe map is basically the flat earth map wrapped around a ball.

By the way, do you have any evidence that aircraft constantly adjust their direction downward to maintain the same altitude on a curved earth?

Do you even realize that on both the globe and the flat earth model the plane is traveling in a straight line? The only reason it appears curved is because the map you see on the flight monitors is not the actual map of the earth, whether a sphere or flat.

After the anti-vaxxers taking a bit of a hold, nothing would surprise me as being real. Poe's law went 100% into effect for me after that.

After the election, however, I realized that vocal minorities can seem really, really big.

Maybe I didn't explain myself clearly. I'll put it very simply: for your theory to be correct, you'd have to prove to me that an airplane's navigation system doesn't take into account the curvature of the Earth (except for a heading North/South or East/West along the Equator).

Again, look into the formula that commercial airliners' navigation systems employ to take into account the Earth's curvature. It's mathematically measurable proof. If you can prove that an airliner's navigation systems DO NOT take the Earth's curvature into account, then you have a case.

If the navigation systems DO take the Earth's curvature into account and an airplane can fly from point A to point B over a long distance with precision, then the Earth is a sphere. As simple as that.

No, they do not adjust for altitude because they fly within the Earth's atmosphere which also follows the curvature of the Earth. Altitude is measured from the Earth's surface, which is curved, therefore no adjustments are necessary as long as the airplane is holding a fixed altitude.

What the navigation systems do adjust is heading, where the Earth's curvature applies to their path, as in, any flight path that isn't East/West along the Equator or North/South. This isn't done actively by the pilots, because it's a built-in formula that allows the systems to take the Earth's curvature into account when mapping a flight path.

Are you talking about whether they adjust for altitude or whether they adjust for heading? I explained in my previous post why they don't adjust for altitude. I'm talking about heading. It's not a perfectly straight line, even on a spherical map and adjustments to heading need to be made along the route. The navigation systems take this into account. I believe the formula is something along the lines of 8 inches adjustment per mile traveled. It's a very small adjustment, but it does nevertheless prove the Earth's curvature and obviously the airplane's navigation systems need to be calibrated to take this into account.

Interesting how no human in history has ever circumnavigated the globe across the South Pole.

Flat earthers do not believe that the South Pole exists. They believe the center is the North Pole with the continents located around it, and the "edge" is Antarctica which is an ice wall. We don't know what's beyond the "edge" because there is an international treaty in place banning anyone from exploring Antarctica.

They don't want us to go beyond the wall cuz the Night King has a dragon now.

Think about it though, if you take a photograph of Earth, the shape of it may be round, but the photograph itself is flat, because it came from Earth

It's funny watching people struggle with this understanding while still trying to appeal to the massive celestial distances/understanding of "space" that arose from the Copernican model and all the space programming we've been subjected to since birth.

Better questions in considering the shape/characteristics of where you live would be:

- What evidence makes you believe you're actually spinning right now at around 850ish miles per hour(assuming US location)?
- What kind of of inverse square curvature would allow for some of these photographs taken at well in excess of 100 miles distance?

The difference in the theories is axial rotation and curvature, so to debunk or support the theory you would start there.
