the series is pretty much over. Most characters are dead. What's left to tell? there's no cliffhangers.

Rumor has it, JJ is gonna make 3rd series set in the future with Rey as a badass jedi general or something. Yawn. So 2 1/2 hours of her kicking butt and then killing Kylo or he cries and kills himself.

Empire had rebellion in shambles and "strikes back".

Here the rebels won *again*.

There is literally no reason to even want the 3rd movie now. Even her parents are nobodies. So what for?

I don't think the Laura Dern part was originally planned. She appears out of nowwhere and takes Leia's position than dies soon after. To me it seems they just used her as a stand in for Carrie Fisher's parts after she died. This way they didn't have rewrite much.

Enjoyed the film except that stupid scene before the Asian girl passed out.

Them as a couple is not realistic at all.

Next star wars movie she will put on 20-50lb. This is how they slowly desensitize people and make them believe fat girls can get with good looking guys.

This leads to women becoming complacent and gaining weight, then before yoy know it, every girlfriend, every wife, every cougar, mistress, ho ect, will be overweight and demand you to love them.

1) that's not fair to say. Don't take that away from luke. Darth Vader, the man who went on a Jedi hunt and murdered countless numbers of Jedi, got disarmed because he was trying to convert somebody? What about all the other Jedi he converted? Why didn't he get disarmmed then? Darth Vader is known for his prowess and forced ability. Don't take that away from luke. Luke is an op and og Jedi.
2) you're right. He did. But he survived the lightening that was meant to put him to death. Mace window couldn't even handle that ****. It also turned palpatine into the hideous creature he is. (I know cgi was back in the day but now is considered Canon showing how strong with the force like it's)

I see what you're saying with 3 and 4. Even then, with the skywalker bloodline and his past experiences, those little sessions still should have been childs play. Even if rey had a lightsaber. Masters don't fall on steps.

Original Star Wars was created for adults, with a love for the story.

The prequels were created for a younger, newer generation after fans couldn't leave the first three die.

The latest three are created for children, for financial gain.


It's a 3/10 movie as a franchise, but as a stand-alone, I'd give it maybe a 7/10. Just depends if you can suspend belief and logic and still enjoy a movie.

If someone has legit plot complaints that is fine. But a thread full of 100 guys that are mad about female roles in the movie just makes me lol. I think people are upset because there's a clear "female power" agenda going on behind it. It's a theme being forced in a franchise that was never supposed to be.

I just have to address the shallowness of your character analysis. There is incredible character depth to Kylo and I was quite impressed with it.

He is constantly conflicted with the dark and the light, which would be difficult like it was for Vader. Hell, even Vader cried after the slaughter on Mustafar, before facing Obi-Wan.

When he realized he had lost his chance to defeat the rebels and watched Rey close the door on him, he was truly alone in that moment. All of this was lead by Luke Skywalker failing him by attempting to cut him down in his sleep. He was failed by his master. And again, Snoke made a mockery of him when he was speaking to Rey and of his plans. This is also why he probably resented his mother and father for sending him to that temple to begin with. He's been abandoned by everyone. You also have to remember that he is young and without any kind of guidance. Now he refuses to trust anyone.

The dark side of the force isn't just meant to be this single dimensional thing where you are just a serial killer and want to rule everything. It's a lonely thing to be, and is driven by your inner hatred and insecurities.

Kylo's character depth is phenomenal.
