I think btc-e is long gone, mate. I lost about 2btc on there as well.
Their new exchange is wex. They should of been offering some type of refunds. I thought it was 60% and some IOU or whatever I dont remember the specifics but my friend had a few btc on there.

Every year, I do my taxes very late and almost near the mid April deadline.
Next month, I'm gonna submit it as soon as I get my returns to get that refund immediately to add to my crypto portfolio!!!

Is USDT basically putting your money into USD Tether? On Bittrex I see lots of USDT coins, how does that work?

i've been reading a lot of posts where people who are hard into this day trading stuff regret wasting the time/stress/etc because it turns out had they just bought and held they would have made the same if not more money. do any of you brahs feel that way?

Best decision ive made in a while: Using 6k I had saved up for a dental implant (have a temporary fake tooth I can take out. Its my front tooth lol). Used that money to buy crypto in August

Worse decision Ive made in a while: not getting more of it.

Day trading is stressful and often a waste of time because you can just never predict this chit man. To be really successful day-trading you gotta be equal parts really damn good and equal parts lucky.

Im pretty sure its mainly because btc went on a 3 month cuck spree because of forks.

Btc holders got spoiled and thought it was all legit, but btc surged from 4k to where it is now.

Alts got wrecked in the process, so just holding btc alone would have been more profitable. Provided btc doesnt have more tactics like that, i think alts will do well

It is hard to day trade though. Hopping in coins that dont have good tech or that you dont like just to ride a wave youre bound to catch some red candles at some point

Im in the middle regarding both

If you go for short swings where you can add 1% to your stack it might be worth it. I made some and lost some. It's a patient game unless the price takes off and you use your gains to buy back at a higher price. Then you realize you should hold.

Not sure if srs. There is no way in hell im putting my money in an actual ponzi scheme

Also btw ripple bagholders, ripple doesnt have an even token distribution and ripple is not open source. Those are a couple more reasons it may not be the coinbase listing.

Is there a way to set a chain of orders? like you're holding BTC, you want to set a sell @ $19k, then buy @ $18k, rinse, repeat? Or is that something a bot would have to do?

lmaoo

and yeah that would crush Ripple. but then again , one would expect Coinbase to add the ones with the most volume

volume=fees fees = MOONAAYYYY why wouldn't they want BCH/XRP (both legit coins)

edit: lots saying Monero but that is risky..Privacy coins are a hot topic ... BCH is putting in a privacy option soon so that might even ban them from coinbase who knows

what coins are on ledger now...those will probably get support

So I've only been working here in the US since Jan 2011.
And I didn't realize that last week, my crypto portfolio just exceeded my total 401K investment since 2011.

That's just after starting in crypto since May of this year. Granted that one of my employer that I worked for 2 yrs didn't offer 401k, 7 months vs 5 yrs of 401k savings is still quite amazing!

I've only been doing this since early nov and i definitely lost money trying to day trade for the first couple of weeks. I been doin good since then though and im up in sats overall but im going to attribute that to luck/alt bull runs lately. Definitely dont regret it cuz i feel ive learned some lessons plus its excitin as fuk

I am such a noob at this. I do not know what the heck I'm doing. I'm trying to buy XRP on Poloniex and I'm not sure I did it right. I did "transfer to margin" then purchased XRP. It lists under "Open Position" that I have:

Position: Long
Amount: xxx
Base Price: xxx

But when I go to the "Balances/Transfer Balances" screen it doesn't show that I have an XRP balance. Do I need to transfer xxx XRP from margin to exchange? Is that a good idea or just leave it in margin?
