I bought it earlier on that huge dip and sold once it bounced back. It's good for trading due to the high volume, but yeah, no way would I hold onto a coin that's gone 28x in a month. Way too much downside risk.

no one gives a **** about its actual utility, lamo. We're just trying to make money - if I can trade it and maybe win more than half the time, then **** it.

FWIW, I think 99.99% of crypto is complete and utter NONSENSE, including btc itself. Doesn't stop me making wedge off it.

I think it would be smart to have some long term holds in the 0.01% then to balance out your trading risk, or to even add extra rev.

I have not been a fan of BTC since I bought my first ETH, its pretty much redundant and only lasting on its first to market merit/name

When the Gen pop is bulling on a coin like btc or anything else, its probably time to take some profits. If the guy shining your shoes is talking about it you should be worried. the money has been made and its time to jump ****, even if you jump and it goes up 20%. thats fine because **** could come down 50%,

We also have to remember if the market goes down 50% and then goes up 50% things are still down. for every 50% drop we need 100% to break even

Yea, I'm 70% btc, bch and eth currently. Taking some fairly big gambles on ****coins as well but it's all good.

I don't see btc even doubling from here, let alone another 10x like some people think. So to get minted we need to gamble on trash

on the contrary. actual utility vs poverty announcementcoins is that you can recover from buying on the wrong side of a pump.

for example. say someone bought Walton at 950 they'll be holding that bag until mid January at the latest. If someone bought XVG at 1900 they could be holding that L for months. XVG has been irrelevant since they dumped after the initial announcement of "wraith" first week of November. They needed a security company ceo to tweet them out to release their bag holders. they'll need to get teeka on board to get this round of bag holders out whereas wtc will come through with actual partnerships and utility.

announcement coins have their place for quick flips of profit but I try to stay away from them if at all possible.

ICX continues to be insane, I invested about 30% into ICX and its already become 60% of my portfolio now. No way I am selling this till at least February and even then maybe only half.

ICX is one of those coins that I want more of but there are like 20 of those so I haven't given it the love it deserves. This and XRB are both actually good tech with potential opposed to chitcoin pumps like XVG and TRX (the latter of which is finally coming up a bit). Did increase my holdings in ICX a little bit a few days ago but now think I should've gone more.

When my TRX bags lighten up (hopefully the moon that's been building up is today) I'll probably put another 10% or so of my portfolio into it. Not sure if now is a good time to get into it but it's been on a steady moon trip for at least a few days now. You'd think some of these coins would get corrections but they just keep heading up.

HOWEVER, the general population is still asking questions like "what if I log into coinbase and all of my bitcoins are gone". As in they have no idea how to use an offline wallet, let alone trade into an exchange and trade into an alt.

I'm cautious for ever betting against bitcoin. EVERY time a new plateau is cracked it slumps for two or so weeks then it blasts right through the previous wall. We'll probably be sitting at $25,000 for a btc come end of January.



EDIT: fuarrrrrrk I can literally still see all the "Bitcoin breaks $8,000!" headlines in my head and that was just at thanksgiving. doubling down on my statement. $25k before valentines day for sure.

main thing that worries me on ICX is that ICO contributors apparently got it for .11c so alot of them are already in mad profit and can have big dumps soon.

WTC is the biggest tester of patience lmao yet another alt run that we miss out on because their marketing is straight up cancer. Holding until February anyway, once the main net is up and the first block gets mined it’s smooth sailing. But after that massive cock up with the beta walllet release, WTC will need another exchange listing or something to get any new money interested

yea, it makes you realise how hard to use all of this still is and how the vast majority of people are completely unable to join the party even if they wanted to.

it's really anyone's ****ing guess where we are "on the curve" right now. Would not surprise me ONE bit if we've already peaked and das it mane, game over. Also wouldn't surprise me if this time next year we're looking at 5-10x crypto market cap.


Who ****ing knows. It's not real money, anyway. Just never think of it as actual money that I'm gaining or losing. I had all but forgotten about my crypto until this autumn, anyway, written it off as a few grand I lost years ago. 7 figs or bust (probably bust)
