Why do you say he is past the point of working things out? If you feel like the relationship is going no where than you should break up, no point being unhappy in a relationship.

And this is why you have to think long and hard about a relationship with a single mom. Right or wrong, what you want won't come first.

I get that. When you have been with someone for such a long time it is super hard to just quit. Seriously if he is unwilling to work out the issues in the relationship there honestly is no point in trying. There is only so much one person can do but you need two people for a relationship to work out.

Take the single mom thing out of it.

You're in a relationship and you both work and own your own homes. Do you expect your partner to come and clean your house and cook for you 7 days a week?

It doesn't even make sense...

The guy works 7 days a week. How dirty can the house get if he's never home?!

How would you and the other female miscers feel if she lived with her boyfriend and he was paying all the bills

then it would be acceptable for him to expect her to cook and clean

This isn't the situation. Why are you asking?

To answer your question if I had someone who paid all the bills I would do all the house work and cooking.

We all stated if they lived in the same house things would be different.

If you as a man live in your own place then you are responsible for the housekeeping and bills at your place and your girl is responsible for bills and housekeeping at her house.

Yes it is, I am a stay at home, I cook, clean and tend to whatever needs to be done in the house. He takes care of the bills, I take care of the food and household chores, equivalent exchange, when I worked he helped with chores and whatever else needed to be done because we both work and was both of our responsibilities. She in the other hand, has her own household and he has his own, she isn't his wife and should be able to take care of himself.
