bought back into trx for a hopeful sell for 1800sats this week. mco and icx finally making moves, tnb is now picking up volume as well, when that thing goes on bitfinex it will be a good flip.

surprised linda is actually mooning, thought just a misc meme.

following on what that other miscer said is there even a point to be in bluechip coins lately? Markets so bullish could diversify into 20 chit coins and at some point they'll 5-10x and make better gains than bluechip even with losses.

Yeah I think BTC forks are done after BCH, if that didn't take off nothing will I don't think. Ripple's success proves that you don't need the bitcoin name/brand/affiliation to blow up anymore.

What has been the result, multiple forks because people's money got frozen due to bugs in the system. Everytime they hard fork it destorys the integrity of an 'immutable public ledger' as they can just change it at the drop of a hat because Vitalik (centralization) decided to. the last being the $150 million frozen due to one persons screw up. Smart contracts are an incredible idea but they are so far away from being usable that its kinda irrelevant.

On top of that, guess what BTC upgrades are due in the future? Lightening, Smart contracts and privacy.

The fact that alot of people aren't aware of because they simply haven't done the research is that BTC will have all of the features that its altcoin competitors have in due time. It will take some time, because again BTC developers rigorously test their updates before releasing anything. So if I had to put my faith in something I would go with the smartest, most talented developers who have been working on it for longer than any other project. Could that change? sure, but I'd be leaning towards BTC right now over all.
It's not decentralized. The big miners and the developers have control over it.

It's not a store of value. Something that now is worth 20x as much as it was 1 year ago and that sometimes crashes 20% in a day is not suited well as a store of value. Maybe in some chitty places like Zimbabwe it's a better store of value than their local currency.

I already addressed the currency aspect with the fees + slow transaction times.
