Congrats OP! Did you go to Rehab? I know a few who struggle with alcohol baaaaaaaaaad. I never had much sympathy for them until i actually spent time with them and listened to their story. Then i felt so god damned terrible for ever thinking the way i did. Met a real cool guy (funniest guy ive ever met) that had drank so much that he had destroyed his motor system and could barely pour the liquid into his vape without spilling it. You ever had any seizures trying to detox?

Quitting booze was the best decision I ever made. I wasn't remotely close to being an alcoholic, but it's amazing how much better I feel being 100% sober.
Good for you Bobby. Just make sure you don't fall off that wagon.

Really really great. Keep fighting and never give in to temptation.
I can tell you from experience that alcohol abuse will destoru not only yourself, but also your relationship to your wife (or future wife if you're not married) and your kids. Srs.
I hope you've quit for good.

Legend, I stopped drinking a couple of years ago and life through sober eyes is so biuriful. There's so much to do besides drinking. Go hiking, drive an hour to a small coffee shop to get a cup, enjoy the beach, go climbing, stroll around the city just for lulz, visit the animal parks or sightseeing places in your city that you've never been to before, enjoy a good meal at the local pub etc...
