If you think BTC can go lower than this, then yes you can still buy tether or sell it for USDT. But I think we are way down already. It's a lot riskier now being down for 20% I think.

I think slowly but surely I'm realizing I've gone full potato on this.

Y'all keep driving that point home though for me if you can. I've gone full potato before it happens.

Secretly think =/= trying to figure out

Just want to maximize damage control and put all this bear time to good use. I'm gonna be researching a lot.

Alts are more volatile, so they will recover harder from a dip than BTC will. BTC is less volatile, so it dips less, but recovers less. If you're already in alts, just stay in alts.

Tether is just a tokenized USD. It is pegged to a dollar.
Therefore when u buy it you get the current amount of tethers as you would USD
1btc of tether @ 15k btc is 15k tethers

When bitcoin goes down to 10k you get to spend 15k on bitcoin to get 1.5 btc.

I want to know how much money original btc holders made in just forks and airdrops alone.

Like if you were a btc OG and had ALL of the forks and were on the exchanges with airdrops

This will depend if you alt can recover or pump faster than your BTC. You have to time to buy BTC at a satoshi value lower than the amount you bought it and that's only possible if your alt is rising faster than the BTC.

But like what they said, if BTC goes up, there is bigger chances that the alts will go up with it. You may not recover the equivalent BTC (just like in Nov) but at least you are not far behind in USD.

Best way to take advantage of bear time is just to keep buying more!
You could look at summer 2017 to see what happened with China. but that data might be weird because bitcoin cash was somewhere in that mix, which also caused BTC to runup and alts to tank.

if btc goes up then you put the money in alts simple as that, you can't lose, you either win if btc goes lower and you buy if it go higher you buy some sure alt like neo

What do you mean you can't lose? If you put money into tether and try to time the market, you could miss the market recovery.

Lot of credit cards are rejecting crypto payments. Kind of understandable because it's basically gambling, plus you could exit scam the US by maxing out credit cards, converting into fiat, and gettin the fk outta Dodge. I'm sure plenty of people have done it or just did it then declared bankruptcy

Good stuff brehs.

I may be ballsy and try the tether experiment tonight. It has yet to fail that around 6-9pm thing begin tanking. I might put in 50% and see what happens

BTC looks to be on a downtrend and approaching fib buy levels.. We should expect some bounces today follow by the daily sea of red. I think this may work but gonna look more into it.

Why would you assume NEO(or any other alt) would be the same?

okay i think i get what you're saying, but that's just taking profits and reallocating it. It's not that "you can't lose" The new alt you buy could go down.

Ven not looking too bad. I think coins that were previously being held back by whale sell walls have more freedom to go up in price now

Was just thinking that actually. VEN was kept between 43k-45k very controlled for 2-3 days by 70-150k unit buy orders. I'll be mildly sad if it moons because that'll make it harder for me to get my node.

XRB might be doing the same. I sold off a bit too early on a lot (around 14600, now 14980), might FOMO back in, its been going through sale walls and volume is high af.

brah you can't know nothing for sure in trading, but you can see some alt are more resistant to crash, it only higher your chance to not lose but doesn't guarantee you, if something guaranteed you then it wouldn't be trading

i'm just saying you said "you can't lose", which is why i am disagreeing with you and presenting scenarios to you. Yes it is a good strategy to take profits and put into other coins.
