Are alts a good idea anymore? Bitcoin has a lot of recognition still, it's basically the Kleenex of crypto. If it gets low enough, like a dollar, I'm a buyer.

This is BTC being a overbought and over-forked ******* and dragging the whole market down with it because some geniuses thought it a good idea to pair every other coin to it.

If BTC was doing okay and all the alts were bleeding to death then you might have a point.

I don't think buying in here now is bad (I bought yesterday) but I would definitely be DCAing at this point, there is no support and good chance we just snowball further down from here IMO, strong hands becoming weak.

There's psychology at play too. I think the big 3, BTC LTC and ETH will bounce back. Only the absolute best alts will recover, and that'll be based on who/what is backing them. I'm interested in the ones tied to gambling.

People aren't gunna forget what the prices were before this correction... also the good alts are mirroring ETH right now, they're all reacting to BTC's movements. Once it calms it's tits we can start rebuilding.

The question is: While everything is in the chitter, do I sell my chit coins, and buy some good coins that are also in the chitter?

For example, NEO will surely be back to $200 in no time when this storm is over. APPC? TRX? People may be more cautious with stupid chit or empty promises and hype. They might not bounce back as fast, or at all.

So do I sell APPC at a massive loss, but use it to buy NEO at a massive discount?
