Dude i think you're still putting words in his mouth a little bit here. Having a movie portray black characters in a position of power in a fun setting, where black kids all over the world can watch a superhero movie and relate IS positive to some extent. Obviously this is just a fukin movie and not gonno change the world, but its pretty damn positive

See this is where I present you with a word of caution: race is not a dirty word. SJWs are one extreme of the view on race, but you're dangerously close to claiming race doesn't matter at all. It does. A balanced view of life is this: there are white people and black people and many other types of people. Just the fact that you see a black guy on TV and say hey thats a black dude doesnt make it negative. It's okay to acknowledge that this character is black and portrays a positive image for black kids. Its factually true that there are not that many black superheros. These are just fact mane, don't shy away from them.

What is most annoying about SJWs is that they don't see facts, only ideals to the extreme. Don't go down that road mane, srs. Its okay to acknowledge some positivity here as you already have AND state the effect isn't significant and that this is just another retarded super hero movie. You can have these opinions all at the same time plus still identify as both black & white. Learn how to examine the subtle truths to different aspects of this issue and enjoy it. This is what being an American is all about.

And even then aside from that Static Shock and Black Lightning have absolutely nothing to do with each other in the comics, I think they actually have interacted only three or four times max in the past 25 years, so I think it's just more fan demand driving it rather than the logical comic step.

That being said fuk comic history I want a live action non-Jaden Smith Static Shock.

Just watched altered carbon. Lol at the middle aged white guy cast as the black lady!
