ADHD is a lot like depression, among other things. It is a condition that people absolutely do suffer from, but can also be used as a simple scapegoat to not make positive improvements.

So yes, while ADHD is very real, so are the people who loosely throw the term around because they don't know how to effectively discipline their children.
Imagine you're trying to jam your pork sword into some braindead sorostitute's meat wallet that night. You think you can just walk away from that?

Some will say those that are depressed "need" these SSRIs, but every psychologist I've known says the opposite. In fact, here what Psychology Today has to say about it.

https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog...out-depression

This isn't a blanket statement on all cases, there is a place for SSRis. Just not for the majority of the public. People put way too much faith into Big Pharma
I very much agree with your last point, which is why I refused to take SSRis for PTSD.

No, I'm not taking a pill for what is very much a natural reaction to something awful happening to me (trauma).

But I have seen kids who really do need medication, so you have to take things as a case by case basis. You can't just say "evil feminism der da boys der der" and tell kids to "suck it up" because manliness.

That's what some would have and it's retarded.

I was raised conservative, have been fairly conservative most of my life, but this new wave of Trump supporters is 100% retarded.

CNN is also pretty retarded so they deserve each other.

I don't really recall anti-feminism being a talking point of the Alt-Right either... And you were "clearly" intimating that you think I'm somehow affiliated with the alt-right.

I have never once used the phrase "rape culture".

Rape is a problem, I have dealt with a large number of people who have faced this problem and it has damaged my faith in humanity or any benevolent higher power.

Rape culture.

Ok.

You are the only one who has ever used that phrase and you are the one who decided to refer to my every mention of sexual assault in bloody quotation marks.

I tried to explain to you some basic facts about how rape is blown out of proportion and isn't nearly as prevalent as you were claiming, and you lost your **** over it. You don't need to use the words "rape culture" to clearly believe we live in one. Plus the whole "listen and believe women" **** is 100% out of the feminist rape culture hysteria handbook.

PTSD is no joke, so I certainly wouldn't take your situation lightly. Traumatic events impact people in severe ways, but its good that you were able to stay away from SSRIs, because they likely would have just traded any issues you had for other ones. Side effects is the part the medical industry glosses over. Same goes for everything from blood pressure meds, to heart pills.

What bothers me is how they're forcing this stuff on kids. Go back to kids of yesteryear, and they were happier, well adjusted, and had greater discipline. Kids of today aren't even close. Sure, many still have their **** together, but so many more don't. I fail to see how this drug experiment has benefited American kids. They just get worse the more pills we give them. And their behavior is getting more extreme by the year.

A class of kids in the 80's pre-ADD/ADHD craze >>>>> today's kids in every way from behavior, aptitude, discipline, fitness.

You brought up feminism. I simply stated that I believe people who come to me for counseling or guidance have no possible motive to lie about rape, and yes, it is prevalent. How would you know it isn't? If it's not reported to the police, how would you know? How is hysteria to talk about my very real lived experience? I never said men should just be thrown in jail. I said I believe people when they tell me--but for jail to happen, obviously a jury needs to believe them to.

But I don't want to hijack the thread so I am done with you for now. I am sure we will meet again.

My take is if it can be traced back to a specific gene or biochemical abnormality in a person then sure it exists. I haven't done enough research to know if this is the case.
However, if not then it's just a made up explanation to make bad parents feel better. I think at a minimum it is grossly overdiagnosed, and we shouldn't be giving meds to our kids and taking them ourselves unless my first statement holds true.
I have a chemistry background and worked in pharma for a decade. The small molecule drugs are purely experimental and don't target disorders the way the biopharmaceuticals do. The FDA shouldn't have approved 90% of small molecule drugs for that exact reason.

Naw sweetheart, you brought it up with your claims about rape numbers. I just debunked it, and you lost your ****.

Yes, women have plenty of motives to lie about rape:
-Don't want to be labeled a slut
-Got drunk and took on 5 guys, so now those guys must be rapists because miss "purehearted" would never suck off 5 dudes (see "Duke Lacrosse team")
-She wants his job
-She wants attention
-She wants his $$$
-She wants fame/notoriety

Any woman who waits a decade or more to accuse someone of sexual impropriety, and does so right around the time that person is running for public office, or has just come into a windfall, or gotten a promotion.. is lying. Any woman who accuses a man of sexual deviancy on social media instead of going to the proper authorities, is lying.

As for your other comments.. "If it's not reported to the police, how would you know?"

Well, how would you? You can't pad rape statistics with rapes that aren't reported. Not reported = It didn't happen.
RE: Your "Lived experience", you mean your "story"? I don't listen and believe, toots. Prove it happened, or it didn't. Hint: He said, she said isn't proof. Your accusation alone should not be enough to jail/ruin a man's life.

Your last sentence is a direct contradiction with itself:
I said I believe people when they tell me--but for jail to happen, obviously a jury needs to believe them to.
If a jury is filled with moronic feminists like you, then they're clearly not going to believe the accused are they, because they'll be too busy "listening and believing" the poor womyn who's putting on the tearful recollection on the witness stand to look at the actual evidence of the case.

Jesus Christ, can you read?

The people who come to me come for spiritual counseling and they are NOT ALL WOMEN either. They never make any kind of public claim whatsoever. They are just in pain. They disclose to me, not to the cops or the media, there is no public gain in this for them.

But keep it up with your feminist witch hunt and I am sure you can find something that makes you angry enough to jerk off too tonight.

I had parent teacher conference and they suggested pills for my son last spring. LOLd and walked out and didn't give another fuk. The teacher seemed dramafied to me. My son finishes classwork fast, gets good grades and gets bored but wasn't allowed to read while idle. I volunteered for a class activity and saw how this teacher spoke to the students. I am sure she hates her job.

They kept sending emails for 3 more months requesting another meeting. Told wife to ignore.

That was last year. I've had NO parent teacher requests from current teacher. she is young, energetic and somehow keeps the kids in check. My son loves her (if he is idle he can read a book). Glad I didn't go with the pills like some other cucked parents might have.

P.S. I am usually 110% on side of teachers when it comes to discipline of my child.

I actually find your mentality very cynical and sad, that you think the, boys, girls, men and women who come to me for private spiritual counseling about being raped and my belief that this a real issue that religious people are less likely to speak up about makes me a blue haired feminist who wants to throw men in jail with no trial.

Your lack of empathy is also gross. Prove it or you get no empathy from me--it is entirely possible to be compassionate towards someone and still require proof before you take action against the alleged offender.

Also, it did happen if it happened. Whether they ever tell the cops or not. If a tree falls in the forest and no one hears it, it still makes a sound.

Hopefully it never happens to someone you love.

Your disdain for due process and this "listen and believe" tripe is what makes you a blue haired feminist who wants to throw men in jail with no trial.

You can't automatically and unequivocally believe accusers and still have the presumption of innocence simultaneously. They are mutually exclusive. If you believe accusers by default, you are against due process, and that makes you incredibly dangerous. You may not actually be a feminist, but all your talking points line up with the same bull**** they spew endlessly while they try to increase the number of men being convicted of **** they didn't do, so they can then point to statistics and say "Look, we live in a rape culture!". They're creating the environment they claim we already live in by padding statistics with false convictions.

If you were genuinely assaulted or raped, you should have gone to the proper authorities. They can do nothing if you tell them nothing. Bringing it up in your "support groups" or on social media platforms is fukcing useless, and all it does is destroy someone's reputation with no due process or means of defense. The accusation seals the fate of the accused. Your listen and believe mantra is creating that environment, and destroying anything resembling actual justice in the process.

Stop doing it.

Once again, you apparently cannot read. I am a counselor, not a judge, or a jury. I can't tell the people who come to me "bring me a video tape of it happening or get out of my office". Christ on a ****ing cracker, do you not see the difference between what I do and due process in the legal system? I believe the people who come to me, yes. You clearly would rather not because it fits in with the chip on your shoulder about women being lying whores who just want to cover up being banged by Chad.

I believe them, yes---which may mean I believe the accused is guilty but he will face no punishment because he has not been A) JAILED or B) PUBLICLY ACCUSED OF ANYTHING.

You can't seem to grasp the difference.

And FYI, I went to the cops, there is a whole lengthy trial transcript you can masturbate to later.

I have class. Later.
Be patient like the mountain. And you will learn to be strong.

I'm not feminist. Quite the opposite, actually. I've probably done plenty of these things in my life that could have gotten me #metoo'd, but I think you getting upset for her working at a support group is a little extreme. You don't need due process to have shoulder to cry on.

If you're trying to convict a guy of something, or get him in trouble at work, or publicly shame him, you better have some concrete evidence. If you just want to vent to someone privately, you shouldn't need to legally prove your case.

Great glad we cleared that up. I still don't automatically believe people, and in her original thread that's what she advocated for, which is a consistent feminist talking point... How we just need to "listen and believe" when women speak. That's the antithesis of proper skepticism and the presumption of innocence.

She's altering her tune now but again, in her original thread she was pushing hard for that listen and believe crap.
