All I'm saying is that we legalize and destigmatize hookers. You think these guys would be worked up if they were getting laid regularly? You think ER would have spent years working up these bizarre ideas about women if his dad had just taken him to a whore house when he turned 16? These disturbed young white males wouldn't be so disturbed if they had easy access to an outlet like that.

Just think about it: there are hundreds of girls who go out every weekend to get drunk and dicked by strangers. If she were getting paid for it, she could be a small businesswoman.
Be kind, rewind.

There is no such thing as a gun show loophole. The laws are exactly the same as they are in the rest of the state (or possibly more strict I suppose, but never less)

How many retired LEO/Mil are teachers?

Do you know how easy basic pistol marksmanship is to learn? Do you know how easy it would be to put a gun locker at a school with a rifle or two in it?

Do you think that the gym teacher who stood in front of the muzzle of a rifle so that his students could escape wouldn't take a couple of combat shooting classes?

News flash: Private citizens defending themselves or others with firearms is almost always a success for the lawful carrier
Not sure why you deleted this.

So just so we are clear, you're against education/training for proper firearms handling?

So to be clear, your proposal would not have even stopped the shooting you are knee-jerk reacting to, although it would cause a whole lot of honest law abiding folks to be unarmed when they otherwise wouldn't be. Gotcha.

You didn't reply to point 1. Where did i say i wanted certain types of firearms banned?

I think education is great and i am for your idea of arming teachers if they are properly trained/educated in firearm handling.

Is that an end all solution? Why are so many american firearms owners so scared of more screening/better background checks?

1. Strict Background checks don't work when you're dealing with a product that is ubiquitous, especially when it is not consumable.
2. "prescriptions for guns" is a ridiculous idea, because the default is to allow gun ownership, not to permit it.

Are you really this oblivious or do you just pretend it doesn't exist on purpose?

What is the “gun show loophole”?

The Gun Control Act of 1968 requires anyone engaged in the business of selling guns to have a Federal Firearms License (FFL) and keep a record of their sales. However, this law does not cover all gun sellers. If a supplier is selling from his or her private collection and the principal objective is not to make a profit, the seller is not “engaged in the business” and is not required to have a license. Because they are unlicensed, these sellers are not required to keep records of sales and are not required to perform background checks on potential buyers, even those prohibited from purchasing guns by the Gun Control Act. The gun show loophole refers to the fact that prohibited purchasers can avoid required background checks by seeking out these unlicensed sellers at gun shows.

Can you weigh the pros and cons of legalization of cars and guns for me please. I guarantee the pros of allowing vehicles HEAVILY outweighs the cons, while the pros and cons for gun sales are much closer.

Yes, we are aware that in many states private transfers between two individuals who are not licensed dealers do not require federal government permission and record keeping. That's not a loophole, that's just what the law is.

Ah, I see where you're confused. That's not a loophole, it's a feature of a system based on an assumption that if you live in an armed society it shouldn't be criminal to transfer a gun on the secondary market or to give one to, say, your brother or a friend.
