Recently rewatched. Seasons 2 and 3 are amazing. It declines in quality from there. The last 2 seasons were hard to watch.

IMO 30 rock is more consistently high quality.

I thought nothing could top the British version but this is better. They're both great.

Just turns a lot of people off when they watch the first episode and its almost a clone of the British Office. Don't know why they did that.

It's very different to the British style humor - dryer, darker, satirical and more cringeworthy. The UK version is almost hard to watch at times.

I'd consider the American version to have obvious style humor (moments that you know you're supposed to laugh at), with some cringe scattered in.

I've watched both (the US one up until Carell left). It's still decent with good characters, but nothing near the iconic level of the UK version - just my opinion though.
