Distraction is an obstruction for the construction.
The Korova milkbar sold milk-plus, milk plus vellocet or synthemesc or drencrom, which is what we were drinking. This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultraviolence.

^^^The best program I've ever done for short-term goals on bench. I would advise joint supplements and frequent ice/warm packs. Don't run the program longer than the 6 weeks, or it will wreck you.

OP don't ignore the accessories, doing 6 - 9 sets of forearms a week is an automatic 5-10lb gain, add in triceps as well. Remember BP is a full body move and use leg drive and your lats on every single BP. Whatever programming you're stalling with, don't be scared to mix it up.
Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.

Hit rep prs. Set your 225 rep pr in week 1, 255 rep pr in week 2, 275 in week 3. After this deload for a week. Keep it real light. Try to beat those prs in weeks 5, 6 and 7. After this gradually increase your working weight. Also gain weight. This is a marathon not s sprint.

what's your fram like OP? you say you're 181 I was repping 315 at 168 but I'm a 5'8" manlet with huge delts and wide shoulders. I knew guys with skinnier frames who still got massively larger than myself but just didn't have the biomechanical advantage to match me. Given your high deadlift and low squat I'm guessing you're above 6 feet tall. That's gonna make it hard, my best friend who's been lifting hard AF for 15 years 21 inch biceps 6'3" 240 lbs can't bench over 300 he can dead almost 600 though. (for reference my buddy is about 18% BF, when I was repping 315 at 168 i was single digit, my friend is definitely always been stronger than me but when you are measuring exercises its comes down to physics and depending where your inserts are and your frame, it's like adding a breaker bar to a ratchet.)
Dude.....no

I’d like to think I have decent numbers for being natty. I’ve been so close to 405. The easiest and fastest way for me to hit big numbers has always been to bulk and progressive overload.
Last bench session went like this
135 x 10 (warm up)
185 x 5 (warm up)
225 x 3 (warm up
255 x 3 - pause bench
295 x 3 - pause bench
320 x 5 - pause bench
I set up like a power lifter and use wrist wraps which helps a lot. Accessory lifts are equally important. Tricep strength has helped me with the lockout. Good luck brah!

I've been training almost 11 years (started 2007)
I only started benching in 2014 when I decided to take a big off season and try powerlifting / strongman
I think what helped me get to 315 relatively quickly.. (first year of powerlifting and set the record for u74 in my country at the time)
- Pressing volume.
Even though I didn't bench because 'benching' was deemed sh!t for bbing purposes, I still did alot of incline and flat DB presses.. Heavy ones for reps anywhere between 5 to 10 reps
- Tricep strength.
I've always had good tricep development and good strength, could rep 3 plates for 15 or so reps back when I was a light weight with full control / depth
- Leverages
I've got manlet arms.
- Form
Are you sure you are using good form ? Leg drive ? Pausing reps I find helps a lot more than touch and go.
- Injury free
This is the most important. Over time you WILL bench 315 if you remain injury free.
Hope this helps mate..

Have you considered not everyone at the gym is trying to max out everytime you're there just to impress you? Because literally everyone I know that's lifted more than a couple years has a 315+ bench.

Reverse pyramid... Start heavy increase reps decrease weight.
4, 8, 12, 16
30 pound drop each set. Works well.
If you are looking to do it quick Smolov JR is your only option. 25-30 lbs in 3 weeks isn't uncommon, but you will lose it after the fact great for mental barriers.
